All Aged care services used for clinical placement have a long history of meeting full accreditation standards and are selected to provide students with an extensive range of serv-ices such as High care, Low Care, dementia specific care as well as palliative services. aiCl is located at read level 10, 815 George St, Sydney, which is

along major train and bus stops. aiCl is also located close to Sydney’s

light rail service.

FrOm the airpOrt:

a taxi to Sydney airport costs approximately $40. a train that runs

from Central to the airport costs around $15. Sydney Buses also run

the airport express from Central Station departing every 10 minutes.

Pathway to AIHThe Australian Institute of Higher education P/L (AIH Higher

education) provides an attractive pathway toward complet-

ing a Bachelor of Accounting or a Bachelor of Business.

each quality course is accredited by the Australian govern-

ment to be equivalent to those similar courses offered by

a university in Australia. AIH Higher education provides

quality courses designed by university professors, industry

professionals and embedded with social responsibility top-

ics. The Bachelor of Accounting course is also profession-

ally accredited by CPA

This qualification covers both theory and practical training to acquire knowledge and

skills in health and aged care setting designed for professional job-seekers and career-

shifters. With stable and flexible 100 hours mandatory work placement supervised

by AICL trainer/assessor, AICL provides easier access for students to gain fundamental

skills to formalize their experience. The work placements program is in partnership

with many health and aged care centres in Sydney that are accessible within 20

minutes by bus from the City.

Course aim: This qualification provides knowledge and skills to plan, develop, implement and monitor programs and services for older people. Students will learn skills to assess the needs of older people with complex circumstances and plan and conduct group and recreation programs for older people. Students will also learn how to monitor services, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures and organise an effective work environment.

Workers in these occupational groups work in residential facilities and carry out activities related to the maintenance of an individual’s wellbeing through personal care and/or other activities of living. These workers may provide serv-ices to individuals with complex needs, and/or work with groups of older people. Work may include training and support to promote independence and commu-nity participation. This may be provided as part of activities and programs in a variety of settings including residential and centre-based programs. These work-ers report to service managers and liaise with professionals and other service providers.

Enrolment Procedure1. Complete the AICL enrolment form with your

signature. If you are under 18 years of age, we will

require your parent’s or guardian’s signature on the

form as well.

2. Read and understand the conditions of

enrolment and the Refund Policy

3. Submit your AICL enrolment form with:

(a) all your academic qualifications,

(b) evidence of your english language

proficiency; and

(c) main page of your passport.

Please note:

All documents that are not in english should have cer-

tified translations. Once you fill in the hard copy of

the Student enrolment form , scan and email the certi-

fied copies of the documents above to AICL Marketing

4. Await notification from AICL when a Letter of Offer

(LoO) and Letter of Acceptance will be sent if your

6. Send a copy of the bank transfer and signed Letter

of Acceptance to AICL Accounts department , please

ensure you include your full name on every transmis-

sion. upon receipt of the payment, your place at AICL

will be confirmed. An electronic Confirmation of en-

rolment (e-Coe) will be sent to the dIAC office in your

home country, and a hard copy will be sent to you or

your representative for your student visa application.
