eLearning Establish an eLearning program for the AHIA, tailored to the unique education needs of the healthcare internal audit professional. The AHIA eLearning program will provide high quality, relevant, timely and pertinent information in an affordable and effective manner. The eLearning program will complement the other education offerings of the AHIA and will provide this education on-demand, and at a discount, to AHIA members.
Key Initiatives6
Subject Matter Leadership Program We have surveyed you to identify Emerging Issues and your areas of experience and skill. We plan to do this annually. The survey results serve two purposes:o Identify emerging issues where we have little audit library content, which we will use this in our efforts to solicit information o Define 15 new positions for which we are now recruiting subject leaders who will help us by being resources for the Association to answer your questions and direct the content priorities for the Audit Library We are still working on formal processes and guidance for the Subject Leader Program, however if you have an interest in being involved please contact a member of the Professional Practices Committee. The fifteen positions we are now seeking to fill include:· Information Technology Security · Inpatient Coding and Documentation · Outpatient Revenue Cycle · HIPAA Privacy · ICD-10 Preparedness/Implementation · Enterprise Risk/Entity Level Risk Assessment· Meaningful Use: Eligible Professionals · Meaningful Use: Eligible Hospitals· Billing and Collections · Regulatory Compliance· Clinical Quality Reporting · Finance/General Accounting· Physician Employment · Health Care reform/ACOs· Physician Practice Operations
