AHEM Helping the younger generation be more responsible and parents to parent in a smartphone world
AHEM IS• An application that is designed to prevent the ‘younger generation’ from
not responding to parent’s calls or text messages.• No more excuses like:
• ‘I didn’t get the message/phone call’ when they did• ‘I did not have service’• ‘My battery was dead’
• While all of these things are likely they are not as prevalent as the younger generation portrays them.
AHEM IS NOT• Big Brother (or Sister)• A way of enabling ‘hover moms’ to extend this behavior to the digital
world.• (there are other apps for that ;-))
OVERALL THIS PROJECT WAS• Good from the simplicity of the
overall structure and data the app requires
• Unfortunately how do you design an app that the smartphone user does not use but must be constently running? Hmmmmmm
• Oh and Confuses say that when Eclipse is in transition patience and cleverness must applied to achieve programming ‘enlightenment’.
IN THE BEGINNING….• This actually is an extension
of an idea that was developed as part of the HUI class.
• Remember I am not a programmer by nature so my approach was a little different
