  • Seeing art as a documentation of the rise and fall of glorified things, I use video, painting and sculpture as an attempt

    to go through my own imagery archive and work with the objects, characters and situations that need to be revised in

    here. Some things that need to go through this art machinery is in the case of my artistic practice among others;

    father figures, weightlessness, cocktail fountains, bowling centers, gardens, and ashtrays in clay.

    All these things are deceptive little bastards that make me think of relief and a world that I understand. I tend to stay

    working with these subjects so that I can keep on believing.

  • I work with both sculpture and painting, and it is along the border between these two media where I find my pictorial

    inspiration. The content of my works is often a spin around of our cultural symbols and I experience that the result is

    often associative to both realistic and abstract pictures. I practice this in allmost all my linguistic expressions, even in

    my curatorial works..

  • I worked for almost four years in two tradional fields of painting (landscape and floral still life). I wanted to express my

    love and admiration for these underrated genres, but without the heaviness of their historical meanings; just the colour,

    form and line.

  • As an expressionistic painter the flow and the un/conscious energy work as the foundation. My works are based on the

    process of making and destroying and never trusting the idea of a painting. The Painting is never the result. It is in

    the process of the making. I paint, I draw.

  • You could consider her work, as a playful humor, about post minimalistic aesthetics, which thematizes pop-cultural in-

    tellectual games. The sculptures, as well as the fragile objects, always consider the leftovers of morbid existence. The

    drama of lost cultural background seems like a behavior in contemporary art scenes. Shes addressing the gap

    between social construction and postfordistic irony. (Sren Hiob)
