Details: The project involved comprehensive analysis of current and future energy profile of BMM Ispat, given their conventional generation capacity and future growth plan. Analysis was carried to assess the total RPO liability for BMM and RE/REC based options to address it. Duration:5 months

Our analysis helped BMM to understand their current and future energy profile and find opportunities for energy efficiency gains. RPO analysis on technical and financial parameters provided them with multiple options to meet RPO – through captive consumption of RE, third party sourcing of RE and RECs procurement.

Our analysis helped NBV to understand the RPO liability arising out of their captive power plants supplying to Ferro Alloys Division. Separate sugestions were made to top management to address the RPO in short term and medium term.
