• Version 9.7.0

• Email sent to schools with simplified upgrade instructions

• Instructions available on our website – Download > Instructions > External Reports

• Run your school census when you get back to school!

School Census Timing

• If you have not started your dinner registers– The system will use the default meal type for each child

• If you have started/finished your registers– The system will use the latest registers as at the time you click Generate

School Census

• If you run the census the next day or later– The system will use the saved registers

• Remember Universal Free Meal is different to FSM eligibility!

• Instructions to setup Universal Free Meals are on the website

– 1 Setup Register Option for Universal Meal– 2 Set costs for Universal meal– 3 Allocate Universal Meal to default meal for pupils

• Do not change a child’s school meal entitlement e.g. pupil meal types free or full.

SEN Changes

• Statements– Statemented, School Action and School Action Plus are valid until January

Census– You should have started to move your children to the new stages

• New codes EHCP Educational Health Care Plan (E)

• New codes Sen Support (K)

• New Need SEN support but no specialist assessment of type of need

• New Need Social, mental and educational health (SMEH)

School Workforce

• Spine Points are no longer required for return– If you do provide spine points then you may continue to do so,

we will sort out the base pay from the salary scales for you.

• Base Pay– You can record base pay in pay and conditions instead of a spine

point

• Please remember– Your main point of entry should be School Workforce for new

staff.
