modes of transportation, however, they aredivided into 3 basic types depending on

over what surface they travel: land, water,

and air.

large quantities of non-perishable goods over longdistance, which plays major role in international trade.Simultaneously, water transport is the safest mode whichprovides convenience to the people without accidents.(Sea transportation is usually used by companies who

ship a large amount of goods at once, with longer leadtimes. This mode of transport is the longest, yet is ideal forbulk shipments such as coal and mineral)such as a sea, ocean, lake, canal.

Road transport is the most popular mode for everyone touse every day. The main reasons for the active use ofvehicles are inherent flexibility of delivery and high speed ofintercity transport. Its available and possible to deliver

cargo from door to door, which is the ideal for shortdistance, especially sending by courier for customer ortransporting perishable goods, such as fruit and vegetable.In addition, selecting the most suitable carrier is anotheradvantage of road transport. We can be easy to

communicate with driver and monitor location of goods.(Road transportation is the most commonly used method inpractice today. The numbers are getting smaller as moreand more companies export but it is still the most used

mode of transport by a wide margin.)

Air transport is the second fastest method oftransport, after space travel. Commercial jetscan reach speeds of up to 955 kilometers perhour (593 mph), while single-engine pistonaircraft may reach up to 555 kilometers perhour (345 mph). Aviation is able to quicklytransport people and limited amounts ofcargo over longer distances, but incur highcosts and energy use; for short distances or ininaccessible places, helicopters can beused. WHO estimates that up to 500,000people are on planes at any time
