  • Mini Storage Fire Accident in HK

    On June 21, 2016, a fourth-alarm fire swept through an industrial building in Ngau Tau Kok in Kowloon. It burned over a four-day period, claiming the lives of two firemen and caused serious air pollution in the surroundings.

    This accident touched and awakened the team to rethink the basic rights of breathing fresh air.

    existing return air duct and fancoil (FCU), this allows simple

    installation at zero extra construction cost.

    PACO Filter can be cleaned by water for maintenance and

    recommend to renew in every 2 years.

  • Solution:

    Another retrofit solution that combined additional materials to

    reduce complex pollution includes tar particles, smoke oil and

    odor released by cigar or tobacco.

    A combo of equipments were installed at return air ducts (FCU)

    and primary air unit (PAU). Maintenance of PACO filter is as

    normal whereas smoke pre-filter is suggested to replace once it

    has absorbed certain amount of smoke oil (2 to 3 months).
