25 students and facultymembers from University ofWisconsin-Milwaukee, USA cameto visit BLNS, AssumptionUniversity where they had anopportunity to enrich their educationaland cultural experiences fromJanuary 13-18, 2016. The mainpurpose of overseas internship programs is to strengthen long-term academic ties that make strongercollaborations and partnerships between BLNS and other universities. During their stay, they visited AU,Suvarnabhumi campus and some hospitals in Bangkok where they could learn about nursing education ofThailand. BLNS will continue to promote a global network with many overseas universities that will developlong-lasting international friendships in the future.

Austrian Nursing Students Paid a Visit to AU Nursing School

12 nursing students from the Paracelsus Medical University, Austria visited and performed theirinternships at Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science, Assumption University during February15-26, 2016 at both Suvarnabhumi campus and Hua Mak campus. Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics,Assumption University organized a mini marathon communityproject called “ Run for Love” with a purpose of buildingrelationships between government and private sectors in BangSao Thong district, Bang Bor district, as well as connectingAU current students to alumni, faculties and staff. The eventwas presided over by Samutprakarn governor, Mr. PinitHarnpanich and Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, RectorMagnificus, Rev. Bro. Dr. Amnuay Yoonprayong, Vice Rectorfor Moral Development Education, administrators of publicand private organizations, and AU administrators. The eventwas held on February 14, 2016 at Assumption University,Suvarnabhumi campus. Income after expenses of “Run forLove” will be donated to the Thai Red Cross Society.
