Slide 6 - Relationship Visibility

Slide notesRelationships between requirements in Innovation Management and items in either Agile PLM or Oracle Cloud Product Development are specific to the item revision and the requirement version. When a new revision of the item is created, the relationships from the previous revision are carried forward. Similarly, when a new version of the requirement is created, the relationships are also carried forward. There is a filter that allows all the revisions of the objects or just the latest revision can be displayed.

If a requirement has changed as part of a new version, the changed requirement is highlighted in the Item-Relationships view in Product Development.

It is fully automatic and no explicit action is necessary. This helps the maintain the statuses of tasks up-to-date without having to request for status updates. In Innovation Management you can see the association in the Relationship table.
