Earlychildhoodeducationplaysavitalroleinthedevelopment

ofourchildren.Whatchildrenlearnandexperienceduringtheir

earlyyearscanshapetheirviewsofthemselvesandtheworld.

Theseexperiencescanalsoaffecttheirlatersuccessesor

failuresinschool,work,andtheirpersonallives.

Studieshaveshownthatbetweentheagesof0–6

children’smindshavethecapacitytobefilledwithaninordinate

amountofinformation.Duringthistimetheyacquiresensorial,

language,math,social,andcognitiveskills.

whichtointroducelearningtochildrenages3-5throughthe

useofgames,music,artwork,films,books,andcomputers.

throughmodeling.Thechildrenwillbeencouragedtouse

theirwordstoresolveconflictsandtomakedecisionsthat

areappropriatefortheclassroom.Physicaldevelopment

isalsoimportantatthisage.Anutritioussnackandgross

motoractivitieswillbeoffereddaily,andwewilldiscuss

whatourbodiesneedtogrowstrongandhealthy.

Parentsarethefirstteachersofyoungchildren.

Throughouttheyearwewillconductparent-teacher

conferencesandworkshopsandprovideopportunitiesfor

parentstobeinvolvedintheclassroom.
