Registration on UCAS Progress and creation of account

Students in Year 11 can create an account on UCAS Progress in one of two ways:

Option 1: Via their school, if the school has opted to create accounts on behalf of studentsOption 2: Via self-registration on the website

Students are advised to check whether their school will be issuing login details before deciding to self-register.

By creating an account on the website, students will be able to save information about any options they are interested in, create a personal profile and make applications to schools, colleges and other post-16 providers who accept online applications via the system.

Online applications

Many providers now accept online applications. Please check on the UCAS Progress website which method of application the individual provider prefers.
