– View video in real-time as it “streams” across the Internet.With a broadband or office LAN connection, there is no delay.(Example: video clips on CNN.com, movie trailers, etc.)

• Downloadable Media

– View video from your hard drive, a CD, DVD, and so on. If loading from the Web, file would have to fully download before it could run. (Example: all those silly video clips your coworker emails to youbecause she thinks they’re “wicked funny.”)
