Some things to
consider….
• What is your vision of 1-stop shopping?
• EMS Web App or EMS for Outlook?
• Where do we want requests to originate?
• What is the culture of your organization?
• Categories/Resources vs. User Defined Fields?
• Knowing your everyday users – (ex. microphones, amplified sound)
• What level of interaction with the client will your service providers want
and/or need?
Some things to consider…
7
• Identify how your service provider(s) will find out someone has requested their service
• EMS Client
• Will they need to view and/or approve service requests? (Manage
Service)
• Will they need to run their own reports? Can reports be automated?
• Notifications
• Email vs. Dashboard
Some things to consider…
8
• Have the Service Providers participate in configuration:
• Retain configuration knowledge so they can more
autonomously manage their inventories, menu items, etc.
• Custom training for the Service Provider teams:
• Engage with professional services to provide in-depth
training reflective of real life workflows within EMS
