Items in this Addendum take precedence over the original bidding documents and previously issued addenda. The Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum. Failure to do so may result in the bid not being opened. This addendum consists of 8 pages for a total of 8 pages. Addendum No. 1 consists of the following: 1. Questions and Answers Question 41 — Is this project exempt from sales tax? Answer : The project is tax exempt Question 42 - Can the turf nailer board be part of the overall bid package vs. the synthetic turf package?. Answer: Per the plans and specs the nailer board shall be part of the overall bid package ( Multipurpose Sports Complex Phase 1). Reference Detail 3/ SR- 601 Question 43 — Is the general contractor responsible for the turf contractor? Answer: No, but they must coordinate with the turf contractor on installment time and must protect turf after it has been installed. Question 94— Can a CAD file be provided? Answer: PDFs are vector based. A CAD file will not be provided during bidding. Question 46 — Turf specifications for infield & outfield: Is there a specific weight required and do they require thatch? Answer: No specific requirement for face weight but the turf must be baseball/ softball specific turf. The turf will require thatch. 2. The attached addendum acknowledge form included in this addendum must be returned with the bid forms. 3. The bid documents/ forms included in the specification manual are to be used. No other bidding documents were provided at the prebid meeting.
