nn) This Prime Contractor to include an allowance amount of $15,000.00 for potential unforeseen condition occurring in hardscape/paving , landscape or underground areas due to heavy construction activities during construction. The contractor is to verify any damage with the construction manager before any work is performed. This allowance shall be listed in the Schedule of Values. This allowance amount is to be used as directed and approved by the District or Construction Manager and is not to be used to fulfill obligations under this contract. All costs used against this allowance must be agreed to by the Construction Manager before work is started. All unused portions of this allowance amount shall be credited back to the owner in the form of a deductive change order at 100% of the remaining value. This allowance shall be included in the base bid.

Item #4: To Bid Package HA17-03B, Underground Site Utilities & Plumbing:

A. ADD the following to work scope items as follows:

jjj) Provide shut-down/decommissioning of the fire alarm system in the 7 modular classrooms prior to demo/removal. Provide any Electrical Reprogramming as shown on the drawings.

kkk) This Prime package to include all concrete slabs, piping supports, guard

post and post mounted signs to provide complete backflow preventers, PRV stations, fire hydrants, gate valve caps, etc.

lll) Provide all labor to adjust temporary fencing provided by others as required

to perform your work scope. While in possession of work area it is this Packages responsibility to ensure temporary fencing is erect and safe at end of each work day while onsite.

Item #5: To Bid Package HA17-03C, AC Paving & Concrete:

A. ADD new work scope items as follows:

qq) Allowance: This Prime Contractor to include an allowance amount of $10,000.00 for potential repair of hardscape due to heavy construction activities during trenching and backfill. The contractor is to verify any damage with the construction manager before any work is performed. This allowance shall be listed in the Schedule of Values. This allowance amount is to be used as directed and approved by the District or Construction Manager and is not to be used to fulfill obligations under this contract. All costs used against this allowance must be agreed to by the Construction Manager before work is started. All unused portions of this allowance amount shall be credited back to the owner in the form of a deductive change order at 100% of the remaining value. This allowance shall be included in the base bid.

rr) This package will be responsible to reinstall any monuments and plaques that are to be removed. This Prime Contractor to provide material data sheets for masonry and brick materials needed to replace existing items.

ss) Provide natural gray concrete with a medium broom finish at all locations

of concrete replacement

B. REVISE work scope items as follows:

v) Contractor to provide trench plates where needed while in possession of trench work area.

w) Provide all labor to adjust temporary fencing provided by others as required

to perform your work scope. While in possession of work area it is this Packages responsibility to ensure temporary fencing is erect and safe at end of each work day while onsite.

C. DELETE work scope item l).

Item #6: To Bid Package HA17-03D, Landscape & Irrigation:

A. ADD new work scope items to read as follows:

uu) This Prime package to include all concrete for slabs, piping supports, guard post, post mounted signs and thrust blocks to provide complete system.

vv) This Prime Contractor to include an allowance amount of $5,000.00 for

potential repair of landscape or irrigation due to heavy construction activities during demo, trenching and backfill. The contractor is to verify any damage with the construction manager before any work is performed. This allowance shall be listed in the Schedule of Values. This allowance amount is to be used as directed and approved by the District or Construction Manager and is not to be used to fulfill obligations under this contract.
