    Im a 21-year-old Graphic Designer from the North East of England. Im currently in my last year at Leeds College of Art.

  • DBA - Group CollaborationAdam Garbutt, Caitlin Walsh, Grace Buckley, Melissa Gater and Charlie Rotherham.

  • Four studios that belong to the Design Business Association in the Leeds area set this brief. We had to brand the Northern powerhouse: Capital North which encompassed the four cities on the proposed HS2 train line: Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Hull.

    The challenge was creating an identity that could work across all four cities, while at the same time, they appear individual to one another. This was the top winning outcome from it we each won a placement at a studio of our choosing.

  • DSM - Live BriefAdam Garbutt

  • This was a brief set by Something More to create a brand identity for a fictional water supplier. Flo was the proposed outcome, with the objective of bringing life into the utility sector through the use of strong colours and a light hearted tone of voice.

  • This was key to making Flo unique in comparison to the rival water supply companies. Flo was the selected as the top entry for the water supplier outcomes.

  • Flynn and the Marvellous Star Adam Garbutt

  • A retelling of Cinderella, Flynn and the Marvellous star tells the story of a young boy overcoming his brother and sisters greed on his own, without the help of a Prince Charming.

  • YCN - Yorkshire TeaAdam Garbutt and Anthony White.

  • This was an YCN brief to innovate the Yorkshire Tea product and packaging to capture a younger market.

    We wanted to maintain all of the heritage of the brand and bring it into the present day, with a logo and artwork revamp while still remaining timeless.
