ADAMS CATERING — GERALDTON, WA, 2007-2012
Owner/operator of successful catering company. We closed our company down in April- May 2012 to focus on our three children, while they were young to be able to spend more quality time with them.
Operations started in a takeaway shop to launch the arrival of the new catering company Adam’s Cater-
ing. The takeaway shop offered home cooked restaurant quality meals such as steaks, pasta, burgers, lambshanks, fish and chips, homemade pizzas and more.
Created and designed a range of catering menus including finger food, set menu and buffet menus for all budgets and event requirements.
Costed and prepared tenders for minesites, corporate events and gala dinners. We have been successful in a few tenders both short and longer term mostly ongoing catering for approximately 50 guests daily.
Tendered and won the contract for Midwest Charity Begins at Home. Due to the reputation of Adam’s Catering the event went from 180 guests in the first year to 350 in the second and 480 in the third. The high quality of food we cooked for at this event set a bench mark for all future events catered for by our company, We never failed to impress.
Adam’s Catering cooked for 2 different retirement villages offering a range of high quality foods to in-clude breakfasts, morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas, dinners and desserts. The local council rated this food business as high risk and awarded us a 5 start hygiene and food handling rating.
Our catering business took us as far north as Karratha to cook for a fundraising ball for 750 guests. This had to be 5 star food and service all the way, but in doing so we held the tender for 5 years running un-til the organization no longer held the event due to politics.
Our catering company also took a turn to a restaurant as consultants where we went into a restaurant
that was suffering very badly with clientele and was almost ready to shut their doors. Together with our
team we walked in and cleaned it up, redecorated and by the time our consultancy was finished had cre-
ated a thriving restaurant and three function rooms were booking out quickly.
