Dear parents/carers, Welcome to the final Summer term of year 3! What a strange one but let’s try and enjoy it as much as we can. June 8th marks World Ocean Day which was last week. I would like you to draw and colour some wonderful pictures of the creatures that live in the Great Barrier Reef which is in the Pacific Ocean off the northern coast of Australia. Parents - Try to keep your child’s day as structured as possible whilst they are not at school. Below is a suggested timetable to support you with this structure and also to support you in helping your child with their home learning. Oxford Reading Tree have an online library available for ages 3-11. You will need to create an account but it is free to do so. There is a wonderful range of books so there is bound to be something there that you will enjoy! If you would like to access a new range of reading books please follow this link: https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-home/find-a-book/library- page/?view=image&query=&type=book&age_group=Age+5-6&level=&level_select=&book_type=&series= Oxford Owl are also offering the chance for your child to practice their handwriting: https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/english/primary-handwriting/handwriting-year-2-age-6-7/ I would highly recommend that your child works through some of these activities to practice their cursive handwriting, especially while we are not in school and having focussed sessions.
