Old City Park is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the day. The historic park o�ers picnicking, concerts, a playground, a fountain and �shing along the Boyne River.
Veterans Park is a hub of community activities with a playground, picnic areas, pavilion, and spectacular views of Lake Charlevoix.
Fishing is available on the Shopper’s Dock and along the banks of the Boyne River.
Avalanche Mountain Preserve has hiking and mountain biking trails, a disc golf course, archery range, and ice skating, sledding and cross country skiing in the winter. To �nd the most spectacular views of Lake Charlevoix, hike through the park or walk up the 462 steps to the scenic overlook.
Rotary Park has tennis courts, softball, baseball and soccer �elds.
Peninsula Beach o�ers swimming, sand volleyball courts and picnicking.
Biking For the best information on routes, trails and events in the area, visit one of Boyne City’s two bike shops: Bike Fix and North Country Cycle Sport.
