!!!!If it’s activities you are after there is an impressive range of things to do in and around the area.!!Lochgoilhead has long been a popular destination with families, groups of friends and visitors looking to get out and enjoy some active time. It would be fair to say that there is nowhere quite like it in the area that can offer the range of things to do that are included in this guide. !The guide is designed to introduce what is available and then put you in touch with the activity provider. The availability and prices are subject to change so be sure to re-confirm when calling them. !Take to the water on Loch Goil by joining Ian on his Argyll Voyageur 10 person canoe trip. Hire a boat for fishing or exploring the loch at your own pace. Try out an Adventure Day on land and the water at The Lochgoilhead Centre in the village. Hire a bike and explore around the loch side, or if you can handle a few hills, head off to Carrick Castle. Matt at Argyll Bike Hire has a range of bikes, including various sizes for children, and even a tandem. The Drimsynie Estate Leisure Centre is open to the public and provides some excellent wet weather options, as well as things for toddlers and children. !Outside the glen the Argyll Adventure in Inveraray and Quadmania overlooking Loch Long are easy to reach and well worth the trip. There really is something for all ages. !If you are a group of friends talk to us about what can be arranged. We can point you in the right direction and make sure your stay makes the most of what is on offer. !As with all the Lochgoilhead Holiday Guides no business has paid to be included. This is not funded by advertising. What is included is based on personal recommendations. !The guide is designed to be viewed on your computer. If you prefer a paper copy instructions on how to download and print it off or on the last page. !!Leonard GowLochgoilheadholidays.com
