This PPI Action Plan outlines the key actions that will be taken to enhance Personal and Public Involvement during 2015/2016 and will feed into the overall Trust Corporate PPI Action Plan.

All night staff are aware of the acceptable level of noise at night.
No complaints from patients regarding the level of noise have been received.
Ward Sisters review and reduce unnecessary activity in their wards as it arises.
Soft close bins have been ordered for initial test in one ward. All bins will be removed and replaced by self-closing lids on all wards and departments.
Ward Sisters will complete an observation of practice during a night shift on their wards with the aim of monitoring and reducing activity which creates noise.
Raise the Profile of 'Hello my name is' in community and primary care settings.
