THE UNIVERSITY OF JORDAN

ACCREDITATION & QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICE

he School of Pharmacy was founded by royal decree in 1980, it is one

of the pioneer centers in the field of pharmaceutical education, and it

has excellent reputation in research and innovation at the national and

regional levels.

We aim to develop and enhance students' skills in problem solving, critical

thinking, teamwork and self-learning, in order to ensure that students gain a

clear understanding of professional ethics and responsibilities to society.

All Faculties and researchers are highly qualified, they have graduated from

prestigious universities, they have scientific activities and research in

international academic journals, and they have also number of registered patents

nationally and internationally.

The School consists of two buildings; the old building, which was opened in

1989 and the new one, which was opened in 2009. The School has 23

laboratories, including 11 labs for scientific research, 1 central lab, 1 computer

lab for teaching undergraduate students, 13 teaching halls equipped with

modern teaching aids, 1 computer lab for postgraduate students, 1 typical

pharmacy, 2 specialized laboratories in drug design and pharmaceutical

solutions, in addition to other facilities that serve all students and staff.
