Integration & Extension

You can generate a Pipeline Pilot Web Port user interface in various ways. In the Professional Client, you can select the parameters that you wish to expose and Pipeline Pilot Web Port will automatically generate a default Web interface. Alternatively, you can define a “forms” protocol that describes a specific layout for the user interface and graphically create it using components provided in the Reporting Collection. You can incorporate sophisticated controls, such as dynamic list boxes, interactive sketchers, and live charts, through this mechanism. Pipeline Pilot Web Port is based on standard technologies such as JavaScript and SOAP, and it allows you to incorporate ActiveX controls and Java applets. Programmers can further customize Pipepine Pilot Web Port using the JavaScript Client SDK.

Imagine being able to deploy your validated Pipeline Pilot data processing and analysis protocols through a Web environment, without having to write a single line of code.With Pipelint Pilot Web Port, a browser-based interface for Pipeline Pilot, it’s possible. Pipeline Pilot Client users publish protocols for Web access by saving them in the Web Services folder in the protocol database. Anyone using Pipeline Pilot Web Port can select, parameterize, and execute these protocols. Browser-deployed protocols can include interactive controls and results can be presented through powerful “live” reports.
