§ Real experience of the global accounting industry, usually at partner owner or board level
§ Long term or technical experience
§ Proven ability to actively participate in strategic decision making

How to stand for election – the process
§ Contact our Secretary to announce your intention to stand
§ Closing date for this year’s nominations is 15 June
§ Nominations must be supported by at least 10 named supporters who are ACCA members in good standing
§ Once an application has been confirmed in writing:
§ election statement of around 500 words
§ head and shoulders photograph
§ opportunity to supply a short video
