Multipilcation skill is one of the toughest skill to acquired. The purpose of the study was to overcome problem in multiplication by using the Lattice Method in teaching. 15 respondents from class Year 5 Amanah from Sekolah Kebangsaan Sapong, Tenom, Sabah. The respondents were selected by survey, excersice book, diagnostics test and performance in class. The result of study shown that using the Lattice Method in teaching multiplication improve the respondents skill in multiplication. Students obtained much higher scores in the test with the Lattice Method than with the traditional way of multiplication. Above all, this method improved self-esteem and self-confidence in the students. Key Word: Multiplication skill, Lattice Method, Sifir
