Nanofill composite resin has mechanical strength as well as hybrid composite and aesthetic value as well as mikrofil. Attachment between resin composite with the tooth surface occurs through the bonding material. There were two methods of application of the bonding material, which is total-etch and self-etch. Evaluation of the two materials is done by knowing the difference between the tensile strength of self-etch and total-etch in the Class V cavity. 32 permanent maxillary premolar teeth were prepared class V, the root of the tooth is cut to the lower limit of the cervical and then planted in a mold containing acrylic resin. The samples were divided into two groups. The first group was applied to the resin composite nanofill with total-etch adhesive, the second group was applied to the resin composite nanofill with self-etch adhesive. Samples were stored in artificial saliva for 24 hours and incubated at a temperature of 37ºC. The speciments were thermocycled in 60 º C and 4 º C for 1 minute each temperature, repeated for 25 times. The tensile strength were test using Universal Testing Machine. The results was evaluated statistically using Independent t-test with significancy level 95%. The results showed that the two groups of the study there are differences in the value of tensile strength significantly, p=0.000(P<0.05), so it can be concluded that there are differences in the tensile strength of the composite resin nanofill using a total-etch adhesive systems and self-etch adhesive system. Nanofill tensile strength of composite resin using a total-etch adhesive give results greater than the tensile strength of the composite resin nanofill with self-etch adhesive.
