Accelerated Bachelor's Programme (ABP)

(for students matriculated in AY2011/2012)

Introduction

The Accelerated Bachelor’s Programme (ABP) is designed for students who have the

potential to complete the B.Eng degree in 3½ years.

Curriculum

All students must earn a minimum of 138 Academic Units (AUs) to meet graduation

requirements. Students in the ABP will have to take on additional courses from the second

year. Since there are different routes to complete the ABP within the stipulated timeframe,

students can choose one that best suits their own pace. An example of the curriculum

structure can be found on the following page.

Final Year Project

All ABP students will select their MA4079 Final Year Project (FYP) in December and

commence their FYP in January of the following year. The FYP duration is one year. ABP

students are required to complete their FYP by December in the same year.

Students are reminded to check their NTU email account regularly for important

announcements on registration matters.
