From the body language of the human figure that is presented on the front cover, we can assume the figure is bowing in recognition to an audience applauding him; alongside the use of roses placed at his feet, enhances the denotation of a successful performance. It is notable that the text 'the hits’' indicates success via the term 'hits’', and in context, suggests that the music tracks are a collective of the artists (Eminem) most successful ones. Moreover, the text ‘curtain call’' further denotes the idea of success; in which, the cast and crew of a performance are applauded. The depiction of a solo figure being applauded, implies that Eminem has made tremendous efforts within each song of the album. Indicating why the songs were successful.

In relation to media language, the camerawork used is that of a mid shot. In context to the picture, the use of the mid shot is utilised to capture the artist's motions (of bowing). Moreover, distinguishes the artist within his environment, whereby it is certain that he is being applauded in response to a performance. This is gathered from the environment of a stage. In terms of props, the use of roses beside the artist supports the idea of being applauded; roses are traditional concepts of applauding live acts. In terms of clothing, suggest that the artist is performing to something he is passionate of and was successful, hence the terminology of the album, ‘the hits’. In regards to lighting, the scenery incorporates high key lighting to highlight the artist amongst his environment; he is the focal point of the image. Notably, image focus is enhanced by the centralisation of the artists, via camerawork.

From the body language of the figures within the inside cover, we can gather that the figures have different emotional behaviours. In which, one figure is seen at a sound deck and seems somewhat frustrated; implying that he is operating in a pressured environment. Such frustration is demonstrated via the generic action of face palming and tensed body posture. And further inherits the ideology that, Eminem(background) has caused such frustration, via numerous retakes of improperly sung vocal recording perhaps. In context, indicates that a lot of effort has been input to the making of the album; gathered from the artist(s) suggested frustration.

In relation to media language, the camerawork used is that of a long shot. In context to the picture, the use of the long shot is utilised to capture the different motions and emotions of the artists. Moreover, the shot distinguishes the artists within their environment, whereby it is certain that the artists are producing music; whereby they have become frustrated in result. The idea of music production is gathered from the environment of a studio, and the artists interaction with a microphone. In terms of props, the use of a microphone, soundeck and speakers enhances this ideal of music production; which are commonly seen conventions. In terms of clothing, suggests that the artists are relaxed, as casual styles infer to comfort; however this idea is contradicted through their captured emotions. In regards to lighting, the scenery incorporates high key lighting to highlight the artists amongst their environment; they are the focal points of the image. Notably, image focus is enhanced by the centralisation of the artists, via camerawork.

From the imagery acting as a canvas in relation to the CD, we assume once again that the use of roses is implicated to reflect the audience's thoughts of Eminem; endorsed by his music creations, the ideology of roses is a traditional convention of a crowd applauding an actor. However, other views can suggest that his audience somewhat disrespects him and his work; this is gathered from the thorny stems of the roses, where the thorns symbolizes pain and discomfort. Furthermore, the greyscale colouring suggests that the music album is ‘Eminem's’ legacy. Whereby, grey denotes past events; however its implication suggests that the songs are somewhat forgotten of. Meanwhile, the font style of 'Eminem' and ‘curtain call’ is bold, which suits the purpose of ensuring that viewers can recognise the artist and the album name. Notably, the vibrant text colouring enhances visibility, as being luminous in comparison to the dull coloured background imagery.

Whereby, the shot focuses upon an environment seen previously within the product. Which highlights the artist being applauded by an audience. This ideal is further enhanced by the use of props. Whereby, roses are traditional conventions of someone being applauded. In regards to lighting, the scenery incorporates high key lighting to highlight the roses, as a reflection of the artist's success. Notably, the image focus is enhanced by the text.

From the imagery acting as a back cover of the CD casing, we assume yet again that the implication of roses, suits the means of reflecting the thoughts of Eminem's audience. In which, applaud him for his collaboration of his best music tracks. The use of the artist within the shot of the roses, alongside with the titles of the music tracks; indicates that such music tracks made the artist successful. Notably, via the implication of extensive shadowing suggests that the music tracks return from past albums; hence is Eminem’s legacy. Alternatively, the use of extensive shadowing induces the idea of a disturbance, whereby dark colours such as black, denotes vulnerabilities. The theme of vulnerability is further enhanced by the high angle shot; used to look upon the artist. However, suggests that the artists past productions have been a success, and have enabled him to pursue a career in the music industry. This idea develops upon the positioning of the artist in relation to his environment, where he is seen to be facing the light. The audience seem to be significant to his succession.
