School Evaluations are surveys com‐pleted by students, teachers and parents each year to assist with planning for the coming year. This year our school will be requesting parent responses about Mathematics, Teaching and School Im‐provements. The surveys will only take a small amount of your time. Your re‐sponse is important and highly regarded because it communicates to us our strengths and areas of improvement that need to be addressed to improve educa‐tional outcomes for all students. You will receive all surveys by mail and will have a due date. If you need assistance with the survey please contact the principal. “Glam it up Girls” is to be held on 27 July for Years 10 – 12. This program was well received by Years 7 – 9 girls who enjoyed the workshop. Our school will be competing at the Wellington Eisteddfod Verse Speaking K‐6 on 7 August. All primary students will be on stage and are expected to be in full school uniform with tie. Parents are asked to check their child’s uniform to ensure it is ready for this event. This leaves only 5 days be‐tween the start of Term 4 on Monday 8 October and the commencement of the HSC examination on Monday 15 October. Revision and teacher support is available to students who choose to attend school and use their study facilities before and throughout the examination period. School rules and wearing school uniform still apply during this time.
EVERYONE2DAY Do you have problems with getting your child to school? Here are some suggestions which are based on ‘setting regular routines’. Have a set time to be out of bed Have a set time to go to bed Have uniform and school bag ready the night before Make lunches the night before Have a set time for starting/ending breakfast. A routine is important Set time for daily homework activities Turn the television on for a set time and only if appropriate Be firm, children must go to school Provide lots of positive encouragement Be firm, a birthday is not a holiday Time arrival at school to coincide with bell time and leave quickly. If arranged with the teacher beforehand, place your child’s hand into that of a teacher and then leave.

P & C NEWS
Welcome back into a new term, we kicked off the semester with our July meeting. Here we learnt that Orana uniforms is closing and we called a uniform meeting to be held soon to discuss the options left to us, the meeting will be open to all those interested. We are coming up fast to a number of major fund‐raising events, the first is the 28th July a BBQ for the Quickshear, at the moment we do not require volun‐teers, but we will need you for the Molong players which is on the 11th August. There is to be a meeting about it on the 26th July at 11:15 am at the uniform shop, for all those interested. However if you can’t make the meeting don’t worry you can still do your bit by volunteering for the 11th. It is not a whole day commitment and any help will be valued. Please let Belinda, Brooke or myself know if you can help and we will add you to the list of wonderful people. Thanks to all for your support in our fundraising we shall be able to fulfil the school’s wish list which will be voted on next meeting (numbers permitting.) We have already given funds towards Mathletics and Clickview this year and hope to be able to add musical equipment, primary readers, as well as our usual Canberra and Year Six Farewell commitment. For all upcoming events and progress please refer to our facebook site and this newsletter, looking for‐ward to seeing you all at our many fundraisers. Gaela Elliott
