SYMPATHY

We want to continue our prayers for the Justin Roberts’ family. Justin passed

away last Fri., May 9, after an extended illness. Justin served as an elder for

the Belpre Church, and was President of OVU. The funeral was held this past

Mon. in Jeffersonville, IN. He will be greatly missed, but there is great

celebration in heaven as he is home with our Father.

We also extend deepest sympathy to John Hendershot as his great niece,

Hannah Costine, just 22 years old, has taken her own life. Hannah’s

grandparents are John and Phyllis Costine, (John’s sister and brother-in-law)

of St. Clairsville, OH. Please remember Hannah’s father, Eric, and this

entire family in your prayers.

CONGRATULATIONS

We rejoice with Mark and Connie Kaufman upon the birth of their newest

grand daughter. Evelyn Marie Lemenchick was born to their daughter,

Lindsey and her husband, Greg, last Sun., May 11 at 8:58 a.m. This

wonderful Mother’s Day package weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 19 inches

long. Extend your congratulations, also, to great grandparents, Curt and

Mary Lou Rector.

THANK YOU

Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers I received last week on Mother’s

Day. I am really enjoying them and everyone who comes to my house

comments on how beautiful they are. ~Elinor Gillespie

But that is not the way you learned Christ!— assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be

renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true

righteousness and holiness.

~Ephesians 4:20-24
