If there’s anything you’d like to hear more about, please ask us! Key dates for 2014 Last classes before the Summer holidays will be on Saturday 19th July 2014. Classes start again after the holidays from Monday 8th September 2014. Moving up a class in September Our general principle for the weekly classes is that the children move up to the next class from September, which is one hour later at the same venue. For example, if your son(s) / daughter(s) is/are currently in the Reception class we will automatically reserve them a place in the new Year 1 class (one hour later). We would really appreciate confirmation from you (on the separate slip attached) that you will be taking up the place(s) so that any spare ones can be offered to children currently on our waiting lists. Where there are exceptions to the general principle above i.e. different times or days, we will attach a separate note to explain. If you are also looking to switch days, please let us know on this slip. Thank you! Holiday Club – Summer 2014 – childcare vouchers accepted See overleaf for more details of this summer’s holiday club with prices from £12 per half day session. Due to our voluntary Ofsted registration we’re also able to accept childcare vouchers (for holiday club only). Have a great summer break! Thank you for your continued support, Gary & Sharon Well, what a year it’s been so far! On the awards front, Gary was crowned Cheshire West & Chester’s Coach of the Year, Sharon ensured we were a double finalist nationally in the Franchise Marketing Awards (Best PR Campaign & Best Online Marketing Campaign) and we had the privilege of being Ingenious Britain’s business of the month at the start of the year. We’ve also welcomed new faces to the team – Alastair Ross, Helen Harris and Ben Whiteside, our very own Kyle Taylor is about to bring A-Star Sports to the Northwich, Knutsford & Runcorn areas alongside continuing with his coaching in the Chester area and Sharon has been working Mark so hard on additional admin responsibilities that he came to holiday club in his slippers! Best of all over the last year, we’ve coached over 600 children every week, enjoyed 250+ parties with you and delivered 3,000+ holiday club sessions. Thank you so much for your support, participation, ideas and feedback, which we value greatly. 2013/2014 round-up – national recognition, a growing team and Coach of the Year

Welcome to Issue 6 and our latest news and practical information. If there’s anything you’d like to hear more about, please ask us!

Key dates for 2014

Last classes before the Summer holidays will be on Saturday 19th July 2014.

Classes start again after the holidays from Monday 8th September 2014.

Moving up a class in September

Our general principle for the weekly classes is that the children move up to the next class from September, which is one hour later at the same venue. A-Star Sports parties – discounted rate

The Cheshire County Sports Club / Childcare vouchers acceptedOur summer long holiday club at The Cheshire County Sports Club (CH2 1PR – www.cheshirecountysports.co.uk) begins on Wednesday 23rd July and ends on Friday 29th August (weekdays with the exception of Monday 25th August for the Bank Holiday). Children can be registered for half and full days (3 & 4 year olds = half days only), plus options for early drop-off / late pick-up:

£15 per half day (09.00-12.30 or 13.30-17.00)

£30 per full day (09.00-17.00 – must bring own packed lunch, no nuts!)

£33 per full extended day (08.00-18.00 i.e. £1.50 per extension 08.00-09.00 and 17.00-18.00)

20% discount - for a booking of 10+ sessions per family (1 session = ½ day) there is a 20% discount (see booking form).
