Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one of the core values shared by every member of the Teneo team. We take it very seriously and it’s strongly championed by our leadership team.

Investing in Education

Teneo has a real passion for investing in education projects that help some of the poorest people in the world to escape a life of poverty. The catalyst for this was a trip Piers Carey, our CEO, made to Ethiopia in 2011. As well as building three schools in Africa, we’ve sponsored a bursary for a student from Nigeria on the MSc Agriculture and Development course at the University of Reading, UK.

Volunteering

In addition to funding great causes, every Teneo colleague spends at least one day each year on voluntary work either for their chosen organization or for one of our volunteering schemes.

Local Sponsorship

Our CSR work includes support for a number of charities as well as sponsorships for local sports teams and causes chosen by colleagues, customers and business partners. We’ve helped to provide laptops for local schools, supplied kit to local sports teams, and have sponsored numerous marathons, bike rides and a recent ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
