How do I access the database? The Leading Practice Database puts hundreds of real industry

examples and quantitative analyses at your fingertips. Company

examples are sourced from over 50 different industries and cover

most of the questions included in RobecoSAM’s Corporate Sustain­

ability Assessment (CSA). The database also includes thousands of

industry­specific statistical analysis of individual RobecoSAM CSA

results for your particular industry. These examples will inform you

about the conditions required in a certain CSA question to score 90

or above, and the percentage of companies in your industry meeting

those conditions in a given assessment year. This analysis is provided

on a global level.

The database will be updated throughout the year with new

leading practice examples and a history of leading practices will be

available. Please note that no confidential information provided by

companies to RobecoSAM will be disclosed.

How does it work?The easy­to­use online tool allows you to apply different search filters

including:

• Assessment level (dimension, criterion, question)

• Key words (search in question or company names)

• Regions

• Industry and industry group

• Assessment year

The screenshot below shows the selection page of the database. The

table automatically reflects your selected filter options. A summary of

the key elements of selected leading practices will appear when you

click the icon in the action column. Simply follow the reference to the

underlying source document to study the full example.

The results table will first list examples from your own industry

(where available), then from your industry group and then from all

industries (unless you have used a filter to restrict this search).

How do I share my findings?Your selection of leading practice examples can be exported as a

PDF document to facilitate easy sharing with your colleagues. Just

click on the practices you wish to include in the report and click the

“export” button.

How do I access the database?The database can be accessed after registering on the Corporate

Sustainability Assessment (CSA) interface. Register or log in to your

company’s account by visiting https://assessments.robecosam.com.

How much does it cost?Before you make any purchase decision, you can log in and search

the database applying different filters and key words. That way you

will see exactly how many examples, and from which companies,

will be provided for different search options. You can then choose the

upgrade option to view the leading practice summary and export a

customized report. One year’s subscription to the database with

access to data from the current assessment year (and, where avail­

able, previous years) costs EUR 2’500.
