WORLD LITERACY DAY &

WORLD NUTRITION WEEKHeld on Tuesday 08th September 2009

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY :-

• CONDUCTING AN AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR THE PARENTS AT KIDDIES PARADISE SCHOOL, LUDHIANA at 1130 hrs.

•DISTRIBUTION OF MILK TETRAPAKS & BISCUITS AT KIDDIES PARADISE SCHOOL at 1230 hrs.

•Distribution of Stationary Notebooks & Milk Tetrapaks & Biscuits at Navkiran School at 1330 hrs.

•Media coverage & Press Interview at 1400 hrs.

•Distribution of similar Milk Tetrapaks & Biscuits at an Orphanage called Anand Marg Ashram at 1630 hrs.

• Joint efforts of LRT 188 & LLC 110 made the complete day a huge success.

• Total No. of children benefitted : 130

The awareness program was conducted by Chairman Tr. Pravjit, Tr. Naren & Cr. Niti

Gupta. The program was very well acknowledged by the parents of children.

Navkiran school is a small school run in a Dairy for children of slum areas.

PUBLICITY ON WORLD LITERACY DAY & NUTRITION WEEK

ABOVE :- The joint project of LRT 188 & LLC 110 was well covered and publicized in Ludhiana Edition of The Tribune newspaper. This publicity gave us a tremendous thrust to do more & more for the children of slum areas. LRT 188 will definitely try to strike more such projects thus benefiting more & more under-privileged children.
