THE WORLD ECONOMY IS ESSENTIALLY A PYRAMID SCHEME
Page 8
"The world economy is based on ever-increasing population – a scheme that economists don't talk about and that governments won't face, a scheme that makes sustainability impossible and that is likely to eventually fail." Steven ChuFormer U.S. Secretary of Energy1997 Nobel Prize winner in physicsPresident of the American Association for the Advancement of Science

HUMAN INFLECTION POINTS
#1 DIGITIZATION Computing cost went down to almost zero, resulting in the digitization of everything and decentralized and ubiquitous access to information through the Internet.
#2 AUTOMATIONEnergy cost will go down to almost zero, resulting in the automation of everything and decentralized and ubiquitous access to production (industrial and agricultural) through robotics, 3D printing and artificial intelligence.
#3 HUMANIZATIONLiving cost will go down to almost zero, resulting in decentralized and ubiquitous access to everything.

WORK FOR FOOD?
We should do away with the absolutely specious notion that everybody has to earn a living. It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest. The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living. We keep inventing jobs because of this false idea that everybody has to be employed at some kind of drudgery because, according to Malthusian Darwinian theory he must justify his right to exist.
Buckminster Fuller

COLLABONOMICS
Stephen Hawking
"For me, the really concerning aspect of this is that now, more than at any time in our history, our species needs to work together. We face awesome environmental challenges: climate change, food production, overpopulation, the decimation of other species, epidemic disease, acidification of the oceans. Together, they are a reminder that we are at the most dangerous moment in the development of humanity."
