While some speak of unwavering faith, we strive for resilient faith! May our offering, and our childlike hope for a future of love and justice, be refreshed.
Our One Table Celebration
Bread, Wine and Invitation to Share Led by Mike Gattorna
One: It is our custom to have an open table where all people are invited to share bread and wine. We believe this is a continuation of the radical table hospitality of Jesus.
All: His invitation proclaimed the vision of love, justice, and peace of God for all people.
One: The larger story of table fellowship includes the reversal of social roles so as to make known the height, depth, and inclusiveness of God’s love.
All: We show our gratitude for all of life by inviting all
people to the Table of Life!
One: And now let the weak say, “I am strong!”
All: I AM STRONG!
One: Let the poor say, “I am rich!”
All: I AM RICH!
One: The bread and wine are not for us alone, but are symbols of a universal message of hope that challenges the worldviews of violence that feed oppression and separation.
All: May our sisters and brothers in all lands join us in lifting the bread of life and the cup of compassion.
One: Today we ritualize and celebrate the inclusive table
practices of Jesus.
All: May this holy meal empower each of us to become partners in the Great Work of healing all people, all Nations, and all the planet.
Please come forward because all are welcome.

Communion Song Here All Belong”
Truth be told, we’re not alone: we have built ourselves a home; built it large, and built it free – love is our goal.
We, a home for anyone, creed or custom, barring none. This, a place where peace can grow – here all belong.
Refrain: May we find here, what we’re seeking. May we share the strength to carry on. May the love here do the healing, lift our hearts, and make us all as one.
Truth be told, we cannot be whole without diversity. many different voices raised create the song.
Whether brown or black or white, all together, we are light; any-gendered, any-loved – here all belong Refrain
May we find here, what we’re seeking. May we share the strength to carry on. May the love here do the healing, lift our hearts, and make us all as one.
The Parting of Spirits and Loving the World
One: Eternal Light, shine in our hearts. Eternal Power, be our strength. Eternal Wisdom, guide us as we serve you and the world. Eternal Goodness, you have drawn us to your heart and united us in this fellowship called Shadow Rock.
All: Now grant that with all our hearts, and minds, and strength, we all may evermore be sensitive and responsive to your current work in the midst of our history.
One: And finally, by your infinite Spirit of Life and Love, grant us wisdom as we seek to perceive and respond to Your will for our spiritual home and our future together.
All: Help us to keep the needs of every member and of the greater community in our minds and hearts through every step of our discernment process. One: In the spirit of the core values of inclusion, justice, and spirituality we pray. These are the times!
All: We are the people.
One: All Creation is blessed.
All: May we love all and serve all.
One: God be with you.
All: And also with you.
One: Amen. All: Amen.
Sending Forth Song Peace Be With You
This inappropriate cultural appropriation is not an attempt to be liked or to be cool in our own eyes. It is an expression of openness, welcome and hospitality for our special guests.
Tara Ijai lives in Phoenix Arizona with her husband Adnane
and two teenage boys. Tara is the founding love rebel at
Love Glasses Revolution. You will find her sporting her heart
shaped sunglasses and incessantly advocating for love,
reminding herself and others that there is always a choice
how to show up. Tara believes love is an action word and
that means getting involved and helping to lift your
community and considers herself a love activist. Tara and
Adnane have been traveling around and keep their eyes
open for opportunities to love. It doesn’t take long for an
opportunity to present itself....
