For the third straight year, students from Salve Regina University came out to

volunteer for 3 days at our Dream Village. They also raise funds to fund children’s

dreams and we can’t thank them enough for all that they do for Sunshine Foundation!!

ALWAYS SPREADING SUNSHINE

On May 7th, 2019 Sunshine Foundation had it’s 98th Dreamlift!!! Children with special needs from all over New Jersey were able to forget their problems for a day and go to

Disney. The All-Volunteer Mercer County Chapter of Sunshine Foundation was able to again make this day happen. Cathy DiCostanzo, president was able to get enough support from the community to send 95 children on their dream!! The children arrived at Trenton/

Mercer Airport and were cheered on by hundreds of well wishers as they boarded the Miami Air plane and headed to Orlando for the day. We thank all of the volunteers that

assisted on this special day and have always supported Sunshine Foundation!

Bennett, 5, was born blind and is non-verbal. He loves listening to music and the joy on his face is evident when his favorite songs

come on.

Katelyn, 16, suffers from motility disorder and

only has a few feet of her intestines that work. She

wants to be a pediatric gastroenterologist when she

grows up to help others.

Chewbacca had the honor of meeting Antwann, 14 who has Spina Bifida, Antwann had his dream come true of meeting this big guy thanks to the Delaware River Port Authority, Gannon

Insurance, Kathy Davis Studios, Inc., and the Yardley

Executive Round Table.

Campaigning for a Cause

June 8th 2019 runners and walkers (and a few dogs) came out to Tyler State Park with the singular goal of sending Ariel to

Disney. We are happy to report that we made that happen and she will be getting her dream come true!! Ariel who is 4 and

has low functioning autism is excited about meeting her favorite character, Minnie Mouse and staying at the Sunshine

Foundation Dream Village. Thank you to the sponsors, runners, walkers and volunteers who all made that happen!

Our 1st Annual Sunshine Foundation

Poker Run!! The Sunshine Foundation Dream Village was the

final stop along the route that included four

businesses. Thank you Ms. Shelby and everyone

Travis, 14 has Down Syndrome and recently

2018 beneficiary of the Sunshine Foundation
