Day 2 Thursday, March 12, 2020 Venice | Padua | Mestre Early morning arrival in Frankfurt where you connect to your flight to Venice. On arrival in Venice, meet your Italian tour mangers/guides. Travel to nearby Padua. It’s known for the frescoes by Giotto in its Scrovegni Chapel from 1303–05 and the vast 13th-century Basilica of St. Anthony. In Padua's old town are arcaded streets and stylish cafes frequented by students of the University of Padua, established in 1222. Continue to Venice (Mestre) and check into your hotel. Enjoy dinner. B/D Day 3 Friday, March 13, 2020 Venice | Mestre Board a private boat and cruise into the heart of Venice. Have a locally guided walking tour to see the Piazza San Marco, Doges Palace, St. Mark’s Basilica, and the Rialto Bridge. Have time for lunch and souvenir shopping. You may wish to take an afternoon Gondola ride and your guides can help arrange this for you. Travel to nearby Chioggia for an evening concert in the beautiful Santa Maria Cathedral. Day 4 Saturday, March 14, 2020 Mestre | Florence Travel to Florence today. On arrival, walk into the city-center and get lunch. Have a guided walking tour through the heart of the city. See the Duomo with its eight-sided Baptistery and splendid doors sculpted by Ghiberti. Walk across the Arno River on the Ponte Vecchio. See the Santa Croce Square and visit the Academia Museum to see Michelangelo’s “David.” Check into the hotel. The evening is free to get dinner in small groups. B

Day 5 Sunday, March 15, 2020 Siena | Florence Depart after breakfast for Siena, the capital of Tuscany. Enjoy a guided walking tour of this fascinating city. See the dazzling Duomo, Piazza del Campo and unique neighborhoods. Get lunch before returning to Florence. Perform an evening concert in one of Florence’s many churches. Enjoy a post-concert dinner at a local ristorante before retuning to the hotel.
