Welcome back! Only one more chapter until the heir is revealed which means I need to get an heir I guess I’ll work on it after I finish this chapter. Read and enjoy!

Carter questioned his middle child after a long day of work, wondering if there was a special lady in his son’s life and pushing him to start looking for a job.

Instead, Elijah spent his time at the lake. It wasn’t long before he caught his first perfect fish and proudly displayed it in a small glass bowl in the bedroom he shared with Dakota.

One afternoon, in early spring, Dakota left the Bistro early. He was walking through the park when he caught sight of auburn hair. A young woman was heading towards him from the brick bridge which ran over the creek.

Pretending not to notice her, Dakota successfully ran straight into her…

“I’m sorry, miss. I was just enjoying the day. Should pay more attention to where I’m going,” he mumbled, recovering from their collision.

The young woman smiled. “I’m Camilla. The faults just as much mine. I’m new to Sunset Valley and was trying to find my way to the local bookstore. Perhaps you could point me in the right direction?”

Instead of pointing Camilla in the right direction, Dakota pushed aside his shy ways and struck up a conversation with the beautiful woman. They chatted for well over half an hour, enjoying each other’s company.

“Is their anywhere good to eat in this town?” Camilla asked. Her stomach grumbled loud enough for Dakota to hear and he tried to hide the grin on his face.

“I actually work at the bistro just across the plaza. Maybe…” but Dakota was interrupted as his younger brother approached the couple.

Unbeknownst to Elijah, Dakota was just about to ask Sunset Valley’s newcomer out on a date. Instead, the middle Greene child quickly distracted Camilla, who turned her attention away from Dakota and was soon enamored with Elijah, who recounted stories of fishing all day and embarrassed his older brother with childhood tales.

When she did say goodbye, Elijah was sad to see her go, although he wouldn’t deny liking the view. Camilla’s dress hugged her curves in all the right places and her legs looked dang good in her silver heels. Elijah was determined to get a date with the beautiful woman.

The same day Camilla came to town, Carter earned his final promotion at the police station. He was now the top Forensic Analyst, reaching his lifetime goal and earning quite the raise to go with it.

Elijah really was eager to get to know Camilla better. They’d hit it off right away. He called her up the Friday after they’d met and asked her to meet him at the Bistro. She looked stunning in her dress and Elijah felt his heart skip a beat at the sight of her.

In the kitchen, Dakota heard all about the adorable new girl who was seated outside with his brother. He couldn’t help but let the jealousy build within him. He had met Camilla first. She had to be his.

Forrest was getting desperate to finish his teen years. Rosemarie and his guitar were the only things that made his days pass. He wanted to be rebellious, but Rosemarie was like an angel and already her parents disapproved of him.

Page 13: A Cop's Legacy: 2.8 Camilla

Instead of giving up on gaining their approval though, Forrest asked Rosemarie to tutor him. She helped him with homework almost every evening after school, and with the help of his Genius trait, his grades rose from a C average to an A minus average.

Madison’s ghost sat at the bar in the kitchen pondering the events he knew were on their way. Carter had a huge decision to make and it would only be riddled with more confusion as the days drew on.

Page 15: A Cop's Legacy: 2.8 Camilla

As Elijah grew closer to Camilla, he became self-conscious. He spent less time at the lake and more time working out in the Greene basement. He was proud of his appearance and eager for a chance to show off for the beautiful woman he felt emotionally attached to.

Page 16: A Cop's Legacy: 2.8 Camilla

Carter noticed a change in each of his boys. He and Sharon were proud of Forrest and his improvements in school. Sharon told him that Rosemarie might join the family if things continued and he was quick to agree.

However, the couple was concerned about the eldest Greene boys. Dakota was rarely home, working himself sick at the Bistro for a raise and he avoided Elijah like the plague. Elijah spent so much time in the basement that his parents worried he’d over exert himself.

Page 17: A Cop's Legacy: 2.8 Camilla

When he was home, Elijah spent much of his time with a friend from high school. Zachery Champagne was out and proud. Elijah felt drawn to him, sometimes in a romantic way, but Zach was also his best friend and the fact that he was homosexual instead of heterosexual wasn’t going to change that. Besides, he’d set his sights on Camilla Lagasse.

Forrest was overjoyed when his turn to become an adult finally arrived. Pool side, he took a moment to make a wish before blowing out his candles.

Page 19: A Cop's Legacy: 2.8 Camilla

His family and recently aged up girlfriend (who desperately needed some time in CAS) were there to support him on his big day.

Page 20: A Cop's Legacy: 2.8 Camilla

Rosemarie and Forrest were even more ready to commit to one another as young adults. Forrest felt extremely lucky to have such a beautiful girl on his arm and held her in a tight embrace.

Page 21: A Cop's Legacy: 2.8 Camilla

It was also Carter’s birthday. He was worried about what old age would do to his figure and his rank at the police station. He also realized that this date meant he’d soon have to name an heir to the Greene family and yet he was no closer to knowing which son deserved the position and would fulfill its duties to the highest expectations.

And this, readers, is where I leave you. With a photo of all three boys shirtless, too! It’s strange how different Forrest’s body type is compared to Elijah and Dakota’s, but I promise they’re all a product of Carter and Sharon’s love.

The next three pictures are of each boy and I’ll list their stats and such with each picture. Stay tuned for the heir vote and spare update!
