A 24 Hour Celebration of YR! YR Day - November 4, 2017 To honor the historic milestone of YR’s 30th birthday, we’re hosting our first-ever YR Day on Saturday, November 4 - the date Youth Resources was officially founded. What is YR Day? YR Day is a 24-hour online party and fundraising event for YR and the people who make YR possible (that’s you). Whether you’re a student, alumni, parent, volunteer or just a fan with a special place in your heart for YR - this celebration is for you! Now, you might be asking, “If YR Day is a celebration for me, then why am I being asked to give?” The truth is, the life changing programs that YR provides to area youth are largely dependent on private support. So while celebrating YR’s present and past is definitely worthwhile, it’s also our responsibility to look ahead to future students. Their YR experiences are not yet guaranteed, which is why we ask for your help. Excited? Us, too! Now let’s get the word out! We hope that you’re as excited as we are for the first-ever YR Day! To share your excitement, tag your Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter posts with #YRday. You can also download a variety of images and text prompts that can be shared on social media at youth-resources.org/YRday 5 Ways to Join the Celebration 1. Write your YR story to share on the blog 2. Raise funds for YR by creating a personal Facebook fundraiser 3. Give to the YR cause closest to your heart at youth-resources.org/YRday 4. Wear your YR gear and share a picture on social media using #YRday 5. Download images at youth-resources.org/YRday and tag #YRday in your posts

A 24 Hour Celebration of YR!

YR Day - November 4, 2017To honor the historic milestone of YR’s 30th birthday, we’re hosting our first-ever YR Day on Saturday, November 4 - the date Youth Resources was officially founded.

What is YR Day?YR Day is a 24-hour online party and fundraising event for YR and the people who make YR possible (that’s you).

Excited? Us, too! Now let’s get the word out!We hope that you’re as excited as we are for the first-ever YR Day! To share your excitement, tag your Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter posts with #YRday. Youth Resources has had a profound impact on my life. YR has inspired, developed and changed me into a person who values the potential in others and sees the potential in myself. I’m fundraising to ensure that future students will be able to participate in the YR programs that mean so much to me. Please consider donating to celebrate #YRday!

Today I’m celebrating Youth Resoures’ 30th birthday on the first-ever #YRday! The life-changing programs that YR provides to area youth are largely dependent on private support. So while celebrating YR’s past and present is definitely worthwhile, it’s also our responsibility as community members to look ahead to future generations of young leaders.Their YR experiences are not yet guaranteed, which is why I’m asking for your help today!
