The Dorfstuben Enjoy winding up the day with a glass of wine or as an alternative to your Culinary Day. It is open daily from 11.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and from 6.00 p.m. On Friday, Saturdays and on Sundays our Dorfstuben is always open from 11.00 a.m. for a tasty pilsner and regional specialities.

The Kaminstube Available for enjoyable get-togethers featuring classic dishes from European cuisine.

Restaurant Bareiss Enjoy excellent, creative cuisine from Claus-Peter Lumpp in our 3-Star gourmet restaurant. Please note that you have to reserve tables at the Restaurant Bareiss and that it is closed at the 24th December and from the 28th December 2020 to the 1st January 2021 as well as on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Sattelei Our hiking hut Sattelei is daily opened for you - 365 days a year. From Monday to Saturday from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11.00 a.m. up to 9.30 p.m.

Alongside the Forbach River we cycle along comfortable paths to Freudenstadt. After this, we visit the “Langenwaldsee” Lake. We enjoy the view at the “Ellbachseeblick” viewpoint, after which we cycle

There are increasing signs that the key is located in our House of Games and, more precisely, on the first floor of the building. But time is running out. We only have 60 minutes to find the key. We’re walking uphill to the cabin “Bismarckhütte” where we enjoy wonderful views into the valley and to the hotel. We continue our walk downhill, passing the “Münstereckhütte”, the “Gultenberg” trail und the Morlokhof, back to the hotel bareiss. Distance: 12 km. Walking speed: 3.5 km/h, medium level. There we bifurcate on to the cycling path, which is following the river Murg. Halfway we will have a break, to refresh ourselves, before ending our main journey in the little town Forbach. Distance: 45 km, easy level. Return: approx. 4.30 p.m. Meeting point: “Bareiss

We start this hike ascending breathless paths up the “Schramberg”. We then twist around and up the “Schramberg” on a forest path – we descend via the “Weißensteinhütte” cabin. Distance: 10 km. Walking speed: 3.5 km/h, medium level. Return: approx. 2.30 p.m.

1.30 p.m. Guided tour through the fish farm at Forellenhof Buhlbach. Our fish farmer welcomes you to the trout farm and gives you interesting insights into our trout farm. Please note that we cannot reserve seats in the restaurant of our trout farm for participants of the tour and that the guided tour will be in german language. Duration: approx. 60 minutes. “An experience for the whole family”

Our two Classic Ponies, “Bibiana” and “Bea”, await you for a walk together to our Sattelei Hiking Cabin. The ponies can carry 40 kg; max. height of the child 1,30 m. Distance: 5.5 km. Walking speed: 2.2 km, medium level. Return: about 4.30 p.m.

This hike on the crest of the northern Black Forest leads us through high meadows and charming pastures. By clear weather one has wonderful views of the mountain range of the Black Forest as well as of the Rhine Valley. For five kilometres the path follows the 1000 m

contour in the direction of the Ruhestein. Distance: 5 km. Walking speed: 2,0 km/h, medium level with some exigent passages. Height difference: about 50 m. Return: approx. 2.15 p.m. Meeting point: “Villa Kunterbunt”. We feel impelled to request your reservation by 10.00 a.m.

We hike from the hotel via the “Dammwildgehege” fallow deer park in “Eulengrund” and then take the “Satteleisteigle” trail to the “Labronnnerkopf”. We now reach our Sattelei Hiking Cabin where we will take a break.

“An experience for the whole family”

We start our hike at the hotel. First our way leads us over a short ascension of the Eulengrund valley to the game reserve. Once we have reached it, we turn west and walk on beautiful scenic paths along the edge of the forest as far as the neighbour village Obertal. Finally we follow the course of the river Murg back to the hotel. Distance: 8 km. Walking
