Audrey Hepburn is one of Hollywood’s favourite actresses. She was born in Belgium on 4th May 1929. She had put most of her effort into ballet training because her dream was to become a successful ballet dancer. Later she played the lead role in the film Gigi. It marked the beginning of her successful career. Then she was chosen to play the lead role of a young princess in the film Rome Holiday. She won an award for best actress for her role in it. Hepburn made her final appearance in her last film Always. Hepburn devoted much of her time to charity. For her efforts in this area, she was honoured with a number of awards. Sadly, Hepburn passed away peacefully in her sleep in 1993.

My favourite film star Jackie Chan My favourite actor is Jackie Chen. He is well know

n not only in China, but also all over the world. He was born in Hong Kong on 7th April, 1954. He

is strong. He has a big nose. He is also very funny and humorous. He likes singing, dancing and Kong fu. He is so experienced in action films that he plays the role of strong righteous man very well.

At the age of 7, Jackie entered the Drama Institute to learn Kung fu. Later, a visiting filmmaker offered him his first role as a stunt player in 1971. In 1976, Jackie played the lead in the film Drunk Master. He became famous immediately. That marked the beginning of his successful career. The other famous films that he has taken part in include Shanghai Knights in 2003, New Police Story in and Rush hour 3 in 2007 etc.

Jackie Chan is experienced in acting. He won a lot of awards. Both in 1993 and in 1994, he won Taiwan Golden Horse awards for best actor. In 1986, he was considered as One of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong. Then in 1988, He was considered as One of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the world.

He is very kind. His achievements has gone far beyond film industry. He has devoted much of his time to charity. He also donated a lot of money to helping people in need.

I think Jackie is not only a good actor but also a great humanitarian.
