� Files can be saved to an online file storage space—such as Microsoft’s SkyDrive—to enableaccess to the files from any computer, anywhere, as long as it has an Internet connection.

To complete this presentation, you will need the following file:� p09_Wages

You will save your files as:� Lastname_Firstname_p09_Wages� Lastname_Firstname_p09_Wages_Snip

1. From your student files, open p09_Wages. Save the file in your PowerPoint Chapter 9folder as Lastname_Firstname_p09_Wages

2. On the File tab, click Save & Send. In the center of the window, under Save & Send, clickSave to Web. Be sure that your system is connected to the Internet.

3. If you already have a Windows Live ID—a Hotmail or Live e-mail address—click the SignIn button. If you do not have a Windows Live ID, follow steps 4 through 6 to sign up for aWindows Live ID.

4. To sign up for a Windows Live ID, click the Sign Up for Windows live link, as shown inFigure 1.

5. On the Create your Windows Live ID page, complete the entire form. If you do not have an e-mail address, click the Or get a Windows Live e-mail address link, and complete theform to obtain a Windows Live e-mail address. Read the service agreement and privacystatement, click the I accept button to proceed, and then compare your screen with Figure 2.

Your personal SkyDrive opens, giving you free access to 25 GB of storage online.Because Web sites change frequently, you may need to search or navigate links to arriveat your SkyDrive.

6. In the upper left corner of our SkyDrive, click the Add Files Link and then My Documents.Compare your screen with Figure 3.

7. Click select documents from your computer. Navigate to your PowerPoint Chapter 9folder. Click Lastname_Firstname_p09_Wages and click Open.

8. Click Continue as shown in Figure 4.

Your PowerPoint presentastion has been successfully saved in the My Documentsfolder on your SkyDrive, and only you will have access to those files.

9. With the My Documents folder still open, click the Start button on the lower right corner of your screen, and then click All Programs. Click the Accessories folder, and thenclick Snipping Tool.

10. In the Snipping Tool dialog box, click the New arrow, and then click Window Snip. Clickthe Title bar of the web browser window, and compare your screen with Figure 5.

11. In the Snipping Tool window, click the File menu, and then click Save As. Navigate to yourPowerPoint Chapter 9 folder, and Save the Snip file as a PNG file type namedLastname_Firstname_p09_Wages_Snip and then click Save.

12. Close the Snipping Tool window, and Close your web browser window.

13. Close PowerPoint, and submit the Snip file as directed by your instructor.
