    Menus and Setup Parameters

    Main Menu

    1. Run - Displays the run screen to allow the operator to begin weighingcontainers.

    2. Setup Displays the Setup Menu.3. Print Reports Displays the Report Select Menu.

    Main Menu SoftkeysAbout Displays the version of the software.

    1.) Product Setup Displays the Product Setup mode where the productparameters can be setup.

    2.) Customer Setup Displays the Customer Setup mode where the customerparameters can be setup.3.) Global Parameters Displays a list of parameters that can be setup for

    different functionality.

    4.) Format Labels Displays a menu to select a label to be formatted.5.) Printer Parameters Displays a list of printing parameters that can be

    changed.

    6.) Change Password Select to change the password. Display will prompt toEnter New Password. Enter a numeric password. Display will prompt toConfirm Password. Re-enter the password. If the two passwords match the

    display will read Password Changed.

    7.) Set Time And Date - Select to change the system time and date on the 920i.8.) Barcode Parameters Displays a list of barcode parameters that can be edited.9.) Setup Hotkeys Used to setup the 5 hotkeys that can be used in the weighing

    mode.

    Setup Menu SoftkeysExit Used to go back to the Main Menu.

    Select Product

    1.) Use the Up and Down arrow keys to move the select arrow.2.) Use Page Up and Page Down to scroll through the products.3.) Press the Enter key to select the product.4.) Press Add softkey to add a new product.5.) Press the Delete softkey with the product selected to delete that product.6.) Press the Exit key to go back to the setup menu.

    Edit Product Parameters

    1.) Edit the PLU value. (5 characters alphanumeric).2.) Edit the UPC ID. (5 characters alphanumeric).3.) Edit the Product Name. (30 characters alphanumeric).4.) Edit the Tare Weight. (Numeric only).5.) Edit the Fixed Weight. (Numeric only).6.) Edit the Description #1. (50 characters alphanumeric).

    Edit Product Parameters 2

    1.) Edit the Sell By Date value. (Numeric only).2.) Edit the Box/Pallet. (Numeric only).3.) Edit the Low Tolerance. (Numeric only).4.) Edit the High Tolerance. (Numeric only).5.) Edit the Label to use. (Numeric only).

    Select Customer

    1.) Use the Up and Down arrow keys to move the select arrow.2.) Use Page Up and Page Down to scroll through the customers.3.) Press the Enter key to select the customer.4.)     Edit Customer Parameters

    1.) ID Enter the Customer ID up to 5 characters alphanumeric.2.) Name Enter the Customers Name up to 20 characters alphanumeric.3.) Address 1 Enter the customers address up to 40 characters alphanumeric.4.) Address 2 Enter the customers address up to 40 characters alphanumeric.

    Global Parameters

    1.) Auto Check Weigh Sets the way the check weighing operates.2.) Print Auto Trail Set to YES to print auto trail data.3.) Label Serial Port # - Set the serial port to be used to print labels.4.) Line Printer Port # - Set the serial port to be used to print reports and auto

    trail.5.) Serial Number Start Set where the serial number will start. If the current

    serial number is less then this value it will be automatically set to the start

    value.

    6.) Serial Number Reset Set when the serial number will reset.7.) Set Serial Number Set the current serial number. Must be greater or equal to

    the start value.

    8.) Allow Keyed Weights Set to yes to allow a keyed gross weight during therun mode.

    Label Select Menu

    1.) Label Format #1 Select to edit label format #1.2.) Label Format #2 Select to edit label format #2.3.) Label Format #3 Select to edit label format #3.4.) Label Format #4 Select to edit label format #4.5.) Label Format #5 Select to edit label format #56.) Total Pallet Label Select to change the label format to use for the pallet

    total.

    7.) Sub-Total Pallet Label Select to change the label format to use for the palletSub-total.

    Label Format Screen

    Note: Press the Print key to print out the format. A test label will be printed to theconfigured label printer port and the label format will be printed to the configured line

    printer port.

    1.) Use the up and down arrow keys to select a line to edit if the line selected isblank a new line will be added. Press the Enter key to select.

    Sending the format using a PC Program like Label ViewSee Examples on the included CD or contact your dealer for these files.

    1.) Load the format you want to send into the PC program.2.) Select the label you want to add, change, or edit by using the Label Select Menu.3.) Connect the PC to comm. port #4 making sure the comm. parameters match.4.) Select Print on the PC program.5.) The format will be sent to the 920i. The 920i will display Done Loading when the

    process is finished. The old format will be replaced by the new one.

    Printer Parameters Menu

    Note: Only set these parameters if the printer does not have a means of setting

    these parameters.

    1.) Number of box labels that print.2.) Distance that the label is extended after printed.3.) Set the Slew Speed of the printer.4.) Set the Heat Setting of the printer.5.) Set the Horizontal Dot Size of the printer6.) Set the Vertical Dot Size of the printer.7.) Set the Print Speed of the printer.

    Changing Password

    The password will not be needed when the program is first downloaded it will only beneeded once a password has been entered for the first time.

    1.) Press the Change Password menu item.2.) Display prompts Enter New Password.3.)

    Enter a password up to 256 characters alphanumeric value.4.) Display prompts Confirm Password.

    5.) Re-enter the password. If the two entries are equal then the password will bechanged if not an error message will be displayed Password Entry Error.

    Setting Time and Date

    1.) Press the Set Time And Date menu item.2.) Use the Left, Right, Up, and Down arrow keys to change the values.

    Barcode Parameters Menu

    Note: Only set these parameters if the printer does not have a means of setting

    these parameters.

    1.) Set the Assort indicator. 1 character 1 - 9.2.) Set the Number System Character. 01 to 093.) Set the Manufacture ID. Up to 5 characters numeric 1 - 99999

    1.) From the Main Menu select menu item #1 Run Mode.

    2.) Press the Select PLU Softkey.

    3.) Use the Up and Down arrow keys to select a product.4.) If the product is not displayed use the Page Up and Page Down softkeys to scroll

    through the products.

    5.) Or if you know the products PLU enter the value using the keypad or keyboard ifone is attached. This can be done from the run screen also.

    6.) Or if you have hot keys setup press the Hot Keys softkey and then select a hotkey.7.) The weigh process is now ready to begin.8.) If a tare was stored in the selected PLU the display will tare that amount from the

    gross weight.9.) A tare value may also be entered using the key pad and then pressing the Tare

    key. Or just press Tare key to tare off the full gross weight on the scale.

    10.) To clear the tare Enter a 0 value and then press the Tare key.11.) If the Net weight is under the store low tolerance value the display will

    prompt Under Tolerance.

    12.) If the Net weight is over the stored high tolerance value the display willprompt Over Tolerance.

    13.) If the Net weight value is with in the Low and high tolerance values thedisplay will prompt Printingif in Auto Check Weigh is set to auto. Else the

    display will prompt Press Print To Print a Label.

    14.) A Label will be printed.15.) If the product count reaches the Box/Pallet value stored in the PLU a

    Pallet label will be printed.16.) If Print Auto Trail is set to YES box data is sent to the line printer.

    Run Mode SoftkeysSelect PLU Select this key to bring up a list of products.

    Print Pallet Select this key to force a pallet label it will prompt for a Total or a

    Sub-Total label. Pressing the Total will clear the pallet count.

    Keyed Gross Wt. Select this key then enter a gross weight value.

    Hot Keys Select this key to bring up 5 softkeys that can be use to select a prodct.

    Void Last Wt. Select this key to delete the last data that was printed. System

    will prompt with Yes or No Softkeys to verify that you want to do this.Re-Print Select this key to re-print the last label. This will not add to any totals

    or counts.

    Enter Lot Select this key to enter or change the lot value.

    Return Select this key to return to the previous softkeys.

    Main Menu Select this key to go to the Main Menu.
