Title of Project Mix style

What is its format? Textile and photography

What is its purpose? The purpose of the project is to get them interested in the visual arts and design. To show that any one can do that if they put the mind to it. Also to show the audience my design.

Who is the target audience? My target audience is mainly young girls around 15-20 that have interest in fashion. Also it is targeted to female as it would appeal to them more than male. However I choose to design as I go to a girl’s school there be a lot of students that have an interest on fashion designs.

How will it be produced? I will be make the dresses by my self and add details by hand. Also I will be using different fabrics to produce the design I have planned out. (Dresses)

What resources are needed? The resources that I will need is: Fabrics to make the dresses and stones, threads, needles, borders and hand machine to make my designs.

What risks are involved? The risks are I could get pined with the needle and I could I could get my self get caught in the machine. The fabrics could get destroyed if I don’t cut it properly and this will be hard to fix if that happens. Other risks that I might have are that when I take the picture it might get deleted.

How will I overcome the risks? The way I could overcome the risks is by giving my self plenty of space and be aware of the machine while using it also have plenty of time so I won’t need to rush it when using the hand machine. I will be using thimble to protect my self from get pined by the needle. I will take extra care of the fabric while cutting and mange my time well so the fabric won’t get destroyed. To prevent my pictures from deleted I will have a back pictures saved on a

memory card, so I won’t lose the pictures.What other issues do I need to think about? I would need to think about budget and think about

managing my time. This is because so I have the right amount of money so I don’t go over my budget. I would need to mange my time well because I might run out of time for the making of project, and to get finished on time. I will create a timetable that would allow me to stay on my target so it will help me finish my design in time. I will need a professional advice on the different types of sewing, as I will be using these for making of the dresses.
