BackgroundDundee Marine & Industrial Services Pte Ltd

(Dundee Marine) took the first step into the

marine and shiprepair industry in 1977. With

a modest start out as an engineering sub-

contractor for shipyards in the early Kallang

river scene, juggling afloat repairs at anchorages

and offering riding crew services, the company

had over the years, gained valuable experience,

recognition and a regular pool of local and

international clients.

To serve our customers better and provide a

“one-stop service” centre, Dundee Marine took

a prominent step ahead in 1989 and acquired

14 Pioneer Sector 1, dredged its sea front

to more than 5.5 metres depth at zero tide.

The largest modern slipway in Singapore was

completed in 1994 on the same premise. To

date, the company has grown to be a keen

competitor in the small to medium sized

shipyard scene.

Our mission is to provide dynamic services

to meet our present and future client’s

requirements efficiently, effectively, cheaply,

safely and timely. Commitment to our clients’

schedule is impeccable.

Nature of BusinessWe specialise in the following services:

– Ship repairing and ship building for all

classes of marine vessels

– Manufacturing of engineering parts

– Steel fabrication

– Engineering works

– Supply of marine and industrial

equipment

Facilities & CapabilitiesDundee Marine is a fully equipped shipyard with

all dry docking essentials. Our slipway facilities

(24 hours dry, 2 x 3000 lightweight tons, 190

metres x 39 metres width) have created a few

headmost in the small to medium sized shipyard

scene. Our track record includes up slipping of

tractor tugs, deep draft AHTS, container vessels,

bulk carriers, oil and product tankers up to 96

metres L.O.A.

Our fully equipped machine workshop with

lathe machines, distance between centre up to

8 metres and swing over bed 1.31 metres can

take care of all shafting repair needs.

A fabrication workshop with overhead crane,

compressed air, plasma cutting, plate bending

and pipe bending machines can undertake a

wide spread of services.

Medium sized vessels that formerly needed to

be dry docked can now be up slipped in our

yard. Hence, repair and maintenance bills for

ship owners are smaller.
