• For the past 80 years these unique building blocks of toys have allowed children and adults to tap into their imagination and create playful objects from scratch. Each building block snaps into place creating intricate designs that flow from your imagination to reality. Since 1934 this toy has entertained both children and adults, managing to evolve through time. Through its evolution it continues to simulating creativity with endless possibilities.

Press Idea• In each state of the U.S., there will be one

major city that will be the host of the Lego House Building Competition. Lego Corporation will go into each major city selected and build the front exterior of a giant Lego house. Behind the first wall built, giant Lego bricks will await for people to come and add their addition to the house. For example: in New York City the house will be built in Central Park; in Miami the house will be built in Bayfront Park. Permanent markers will be provided for artists to leave their signatures. Once the houses are complete, a finishing coat will be painted on the outside of the house to seal in the finish product.

Promotional Ideas• 1. Legos 80th Anniversary parade.

Philanthropic foundations will be asked to create their own floats made out of Legos. The audience will be asked to vote on their favorite float via social media. The winning float will be granted $80,000 for their masterpiece. All voters will receive a 18% off coupon for any of the 80th limited edition Lego purchase.

• 2. In malls that house Lego stores 80th edition pieces will be built and displayed creating a giant 80th sign.
