Energy Efficient Manufacturing

According to “Green to Gold” by Esty & Winston, “green business strategies” can:

Improve image and gain new customers (e.g. Toyota & Prius). Drive innovation: using new materials, machinery and

methods, or producing new products. Enhance brand value by legitimate green image campaigns Cut costs Reduce risks

To remain competitive in the new, global economy, manufacturing companies must integrate

awareness of environmental impacts into all aspects of their business model.
