Temperature station

Proper use

The weather station displays the indoor and out-door temperatures in Celsius (C) or Fahrenheit (F) and their maximum and minimum values. The weather station also displays the time in 12 / 24-hour clock modes and the date. In addition, the weather station has an alarm function. The device is not intended for commercial use.

General safety information

Children or persons who lack the knowledge or experience to use the device or whose physical, sensory or intellectual capacities are limited must never be allowed to use the de-vice without supervision or instruction by a person responsible for their safety. Children must never be allowed to play with the de-vice. This is not a toy.

Please note that the guarantee does not cover damage caused by incorrect handling, non-compliance with the operating instruc-tions or interference with the device by unau-thorised individuals.

Safety instructions for batteries

DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries can be swallowed, which may represent a

danger to life. If a battery has been swal-lowed, medical help is required immediately.

Remove the batteries from the device if they are not going to be used for a prolonged period.

CAUTION! DANGER OF EX-PLOSION! Never recharge bat-teries which are not rechargeable.

When inserting the batteries, ensure the correct polarity! This is shown in the battery compart-ments.

Remove spent batteries immediately from the device. There is an increased danger of leaks!

Keep batteries away from children; do not throw the batteries in the fire, short-circuit them or take them apart.

Always replace all the batteries at once. Use batteries of the same type only. Other-

wise there is a risk of an explosion.

If the batteries have leaked inside your de-vice, you should remove them immediately in order to prevent damage to the device!

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Any parts of the body coming into contact with battery acid should be rinsed off with copious amounts of water and / or a doctor contacted if necessary!

Before initial use

Put the batteries first into the outdoor sensor, then into the weather station.

General information CAUTION! When choosing where to position

the weather station, make sure that it is not exposed to direct sunlight, vibrations, dust, heat, cold or moisture. Do not place the weather station or exter-nal sensor near to heat sources, e.g. radiators, as this may result in damage to the instruments. Place the weather station on the accompany-

ing stand 25. Please ensure that neighbouring devices are

not operated at the same frequency of 433 MHz. Such devices may cause interfer-ence to the radio connection.

Do not place the devices next to or on metal plates. Otherwise the quality of radio wave transmission may be reduced.

Radio signal (DCF):The DCF signal (time signal transmitter) is made up of time pulses transmitted from one of the high-est precision clocks in the world close to Frankfurt / Main in Germany it varies by 1 second in 1mil-lion years.In ideal conditions, your weather station can pick up this signal over a distance of up to approx. 1,500 km around Frankfurt / Main.

Preparing to use the outdoor sensor

Inserting the batteries: Remove the battery compartment cover from

the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert two 1.5 V batteries (AA) (included)

into the battery compartment 30 . Note: Make sure you fit the batteries the

right way round (polarity). This is shown in the battery compartment.

The outdoor sensor is now ready for use and the control LED 28 illuminates briefly.

Close the battery compartment cover.

Preparing the weather station for use

Inserting the batteries: Open the battery compartment 24 on the

back of the weather station. Insert two 1.5 V batteries (AA) (included)

into the battery compartment. Note: Make sure you fit the batteries the

right way round (polarity). This is shown on the battery compartment (see Figs. C + E).

Close the battery compartment cover.

Connecting the weather station with the outdoor sensor and the DCF radio signal:After the batteries have been inserted, the weather station attempts to establish a connection with the outdoor sensor. This process can take a few minutes. The symbol flashes. Once the de-vice has successfully connected to the external sensor, the symbol stops flashing and the tem-perature is shown in the LC display.

Note: If the weather station does not receive the signal from the outdoor sensor within 3 minutes, the weather station automatically starts with the reception of the radio time signal.After successful reception of the outdoor sensor signal or after 3 minutes, the weather station starts with the reception of the radio time signal. This process can take up to 5 minutes and is indicated in the LC display by the flashing symbol 11 .

After successful reception of the DCF radio signal, the symbol is displayed continuously in the LC display.Note: Do not move the weather station while it is receiving the signal. Otherwise this could interfere with reception.If synchronisation is not possible when the weather station is being first set up, try changing

the location (e.g. place the weather station near to a window).

If this does not work, carry out a restart, if necessary. To do this, press and keep pressed the ZZ / REGISTER button 18 ..

Reception may be considerably reduced by obstruc-tions (e.g. concrete walls) or sources of interference (e.g. other electrical devices).If the reception of the radio signal continues to be interrupted, you can set the time and date manu-ally (see Setting the language / time zone / time / date manually).

Mounting the weather station and / or the outdoor sensor on a wall:Note: You will require an electric drill and a crosshead screwdriver for this step.

CAUTION! DANGER TO LIFE, RISK OF INJURY AND MATERIAL DAMAGE! Read the operating and safety instructions for your drill carefully.

DANGER TO LIFE! Take care that you do not hit electricity, gas or water lines when you drill into the wall. If necessary, check with a pipe and cable detector before drilling.

Weather station Mark the position of the hole ( approx. 7mm)

on the wall. Drill the hole with an electric drill.

Insert the dowel 27 into the drilled hole. Using a crosshead screwdriver, screw the

screw 26 into the dowel. Hang the weather station by placing the

hanger 23 on the screw.

External sensor Mark the position of the hole ( approx. 7 mm)

on the wall. Drill the hole with an electric drill. Insert the dowel 32 into the drilled hole. Using a crosshead screwdriver, screw the

screw 31 into the dowel. Hang the external sensor by placing the

hanger 29 on the screw.

Note: Ensure that the external sensor does not come into contact with water or direct sunlight. Electronic devices may adversely affect the wire-less signal reception.

Setting the language / time zone / time / date manually

The reception of DCF radio signal where the weather station has been positioned may become degraded or interrupted. If this happens you can set the device manually.

1. Press and hold down the CLOCK button 22 for about 3 seconds.

2. Press the SET / RESET button 20 to switch be-tween the 12- and 24-hour clock display modes.

3. Press the CLOCK button to confirm your set-tings. The day of the week display 12 flashes. Tip: If you press and hold down the SET / RESET button, you accelerate the process and reach the desired value more quickly. This quicker method can also be used for making the following settings. If during a period of 30seconds no buttons are pressed, the LC display returns automatically to the default display.

4. Press the SET / RESET button to set the desired language: GE = German, FR = French, SP = Spanish, IT = Italian, EN = English).

5. Press the CLOCK button to confirm your set-tings. The time zone display flashes.

6. Press the SET / RESET button to set the desired time zone for time zone 2 (12 hours to +12hours).

Note: Should you be in a country in which the DCF signal can be received but the time is different to your current local time, you can use the time zone setting to have the clock display your current local time. If you find yourself in a country in which, for example, the local time is an hour ahead of Central European Time (CET), you set the time zone to +01. The clock is now still controlled by DCF but shows the time as one hour ahead of CET. If you wish to know what the time is in the USA for example, then simply by setting the time zone value to e.g. 10 you will ob-tain the current local time in Los Angeles etc.

7. Press the CLOCK button to confirm your settings. The hour display flashes.

8. Press the SET / RESET button to set the desired value.

9. Press the CLOCK button to confirm your settings.10. Repeat steps 6 and 7 to set the values for,

minutes, seconds 10, year and date 13 (day / month). Note: The seconds display can only be reset to 00.

11. After this, the LC display returns to the default display.

Displaying summer timeSummer time is indicated by the DST symbol 14 in the LC display. The weather station automati-cally detects from the DCF radio signal whether it is summer time or not.

Calling up the time zoneThe default display shows the time zone according to the information provided by the DCF signal.

Press the CLOCK button 22 . The time zone 16 appears in the LC display.

Press the CLOCK button again to return to the default display.

Setting the alarm timeYou can set two different alarm times.

1. Press and hold down the ALARM button 21 for about 3 seconds.

Note: If an alarm time has been set before, then that previously set alarm time appears in the LC display. If not, then the display shows 0:00 or AM 12:00.

2. The hour display flashes. Press the SET / RESET button 20 to set the desired value.

3. Press the ALARM button to confirm your settings. The minute display flashes.

4. Press the SET / RESET button to set the desired value.

5. Press the ALARM button to confirm your settings.

6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 to set the time for Alarm 2.

Calling up the alarm times Press ALARM button 21 once or twice to

call up the set time for Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 respectively.

Press the ALARM button again to return to the default display.

Switching the alarm on / off Press the SET / RESET button 20 once to acti-

vate Alarm 1. Press the SET / RESET button twice to activate Alarm 2. Press the SET / RESET button three times to activate Alarm1 and Alarm 2. Note: The symbol or appears in the LC display.

The alarm signal sounds as soon as the set alarm time is reached. The alarm signal ceases automatically after a period of 2minutes.

Press the ALARM button 21 to switch off the alarm signal before it switches off automati-cally. Note: The alarm signal sounds every day at the set time.

Press the SET / RESET button three times to deactivate Alarm 1. Press the SET / RESET button twice to deactivate Alarm 2. Press the SET / RESET button once to deactivate Alarm 1 and Alarm 2.

Using the snooze button Press the ZZ / REGISTER button 18 while the

alarm signal is sounding to activate the snooze function.

The alarm signal is silenced and the displays or and ZZ flash.

The alarm signal sounds again after approx. 5 minutes.

Press the SELECT button 19 to deactivate the snooze function.

Displaying temperatureThe LC display shows the indoor temperature 6 and the outdoor temperature 2 .

Press and hold down the SELECT button 19 for approx. 3 seconds. The C display flashes.

Press the SET / RESET button 20 to switch be-tween the C (Celsius) and F (Fahrenheit) temperature scales.

Calling up the minimum / maximum values

The weather station stores the maximum and mini-mum values of the outdoor sensor and of the weather station itself.

Press the SELECT button 19 to display the maximum values of the indoor 4 and out-door temperature 17 .

Press the SELECT button again to display the minimum values of the indoor and outdoor temperature.

Press the SET / RESET button 20 while the maximum and minimum values, are being dis-played to reset the values.

Press the SELECT button, to return to the default display.

Displaying temperature trends

After successfully connecting with the outdoor sensor, the weather station can display the tem-perature trend (outdoor) 1 and the temperature trend (indoor) 5 .

You may see the following displays: = The temperature is rising. = The temperature is constant. = The temperature is falling.

Battery state displayThe 3 and 7 symbols appear in the weather stations LC display if the batteries in the outdoor sensor or the weather station are weak.

Replacing the batteries Open the battery compartment 24 or 30 . Remove the exhausted batteries. Insert two new 1.5 V batteries (AA) into the

battery compartments. Note: Make sure you fit the batteries the right way round (polarity). This is shown in the battery compartments (see Figs. C + E).

Close the battery compartments.

Troubleshooting

Note: This appliance has delicate electronic components. This means that if it is placed near an object that transmits radio signals, it could cause interference.

If the display indicates a problem, move such objects away from it or remove the batteries for a short while and then replace them.

Obstacles such as concrete walls can also cause that the reception is disturbed. In this case, change the location (eg near a window). Please take note that the external sensor should always be set up within max. 30 meters (open space) from the base station. The specified range is the free-field range and means that no obstacle should be

between the remote sensor and the base station. A visual contact between remote sensor and base station often improves the transmission.

Cold (outdoor temperatures below 0C) can reduce the battery power of the outdoor sensor and thereby negatively impair the radio transmis-sion.

Another factor that may cause harmful interference, are dead or weak batteries in the outdoor sensor. Replace them by new ones.

If your weather station is not working correctly, please remove the batteries for a short while and then replace them.

Cleaning and maintenance

The device should only be cleaned on the outside with a soft dry cloth.

Under no circumstances should you spray the outdoor sensor, e.g. with a garden hose. The outdoor sensor is only protected against rain from above.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Infor-mation on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accord-ance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Please return the batteries and / or the device to the available ollection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries!

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treat-ment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries at a local collection point.

OPASNOST PO IVOT! Baterije se mogu progutati to moe biti opa-

sno po ivot. Ako se proguta baterija, potrebno je odmah potraiti medicinsku pomo.

Izvadite baterije iz ureaja ako ih niste upo-trebljavali dulje vrijeme.

OPREZ! OPASNOST OD EKSPLOZIJE! Ne punite ni u kojem sluaju nenapunjive baterije.

Tijekom umetanja baterija, vodite rauna o ispravnoj polarizaciji! Ista je prikazana u baterijskom kuitu.

Istroene baterije potrebno je odmah ukloniti iz ureaja. Postoji poveana opasnost da doe do curenja sadraja baterija!

Drite baterije podalje od djece, ne bacajte ih u vatru, ne punite ih ponovno i ne rastav-ljajte ih.

Zamijenite uvijek sve baterije istovremeno. Uvijek koristite baterije istog tipa. U protivnom

prijeti opasnost od eksplozije. Ako je sadraj baterije u Vaem ureaju iscu-

rio odmah istu uklonite kako biste izbjegli oteenja na ureaju!

Izbjegavajte dodir s koom, oima i sluznicom. U sluaju doticaja kiseline iz baterija, isperite dotino mjesto s dovoljno vode i / ili potraite lijeniku pomo!

Prije stavljanja u pogon

Stavite baterije najprije u vanjski osjetnik, onda tek u vremensku stanicu.

Ope napomene OPREZ! Odaberite mjesto postavljanja, na

kojem ste sigurni da ureaj nije izloen izravnim sunevim zrakama, vibraciji, praini, vruini, hlad-noi i vlazi. Ne postavljajte ureaje u blizini izvora topline, npr. grijalica. Inae prijeti opasnost od oteenja ureaja. Postavite vremensku stanicu na pripadajue

postolje 25 . Osigurajte, da susjedni ureaji ne rade na

istoj frekvenciji od 433MHz. Ti ureaji bi mogli prouzroiati smetnje na radiovezi.

Stavljanje vremenske stanice u pogon

Umetanje baterija: Otvorite pretinac za baterije 24 na stranjoj

strani vremenske stanice. Umetnite dvije baterije od 1,5 V (AA)

(sadrane u opsegu isporuke) u pretinac za baterije.

Uputa: Pri tome vodite rauna o ispravnoj polarizaciji. Ista je prikazana u pretincu za baterije (vidite takoer sl. C + E).

Zatvorite poklopac pretinca za baterije.

Spajanje vremenske postaje s vanjskim osjetnikom i DCF-radiosignalom:Vremenska stanica pokuava nakon umetanja baterija, uspostaviti kontakt s vanjskim osjetnikom. Taj postupak moe trajati nekoliko minuta. -znak treperi. Kod uspjene uspostave kontakta s vanj-skim osjetnikom -znak prestaje treperiti i tempe-ratura se prikazuje na LCD-zaslonu.

Uputa: Ako vremenska stanica nakon 3 minute ne prima signal vanjskog osjetnika, vremenska stanica automatski pokree prijem radiosignala.Nakon uspjenog prijema signala vanjskog osjet-nika tj. nakon 3 minute, vremenska postaja zapo-inje s prijemom radiosignala. Taj postupak moe trajati do 5 minuta i prikazat e se na LCD-zaslonu trepereim znakom 11 .

Nakon uspjenog prijema DCF radiosignala, trajno e se prikazati znak na LCD-zaslonu.

Uputa: Ne mijenjajte poloaj vremenske stanice tijekom prijema. Inae bi moglo doi do smetnji u prijemu.

Ako u trenutku stavljanja u pogon nije mogua sinkronizacija s atomskim satom, promijenite polo-aj vremenske stanice (npr. postavite je u blizini prozora).

Ukoliko je potrebno pokrenite vremensku sta-nicu ponovno, ako ista ne radi ispravno. Priti-snite i drite pritisnutu tipku ZZ / REGISTER 18 .

Uklonite takve ureaje iz dosega vremenske stanice / vanjskog senzora ili na kratko izva-dite baterije iz vremenske stanice / vanjskog senzora, ako zaslon prikazuje smetnje.

Prepreke, kao npr. betonski zidovi mogu osjetljivo izazvati smetnju prijema. U tom sluaju promijenite mjesto (npr. blizu prozora). Uzmite u obzir da je vanjski osjetnik uvijek postavljen u okrugu od maks. 30 metara (otvoreni prostor) od bazne stanice. Vizu-alni kontakt izmeu vanjskog osjetnika i bazne stanice esto poboljava prijenos.Hladnoa (vanjske tempperature ispod 0C) moe negativno utjecati na uinak baterije vanjskog osjetnika, i na taj nain negativno utjecati na radio prijenos.

Dac n momentul punerii n funciune nu este posibil o sincronizare cu ceasul atomic, schim-bai mai nti poziia staiei meteo (de exemplu, n apropierea unei ferestre).

Repornii staia meteo dac aceasta nu funci-oneaz corect. n acest scop, apsai i inei apsat tasta ZZ / REGISTER 18 .

Recepia poate fi limitat considerabil prin obsta-cole (de exemplu, perei din beton) sau surse de interferen (de exemplu, alte aparate electrice).

Dac recepionarea semnalului radio este distorsi-onat n continuare, putei seta ora i data i manual (a se vedea Setarea manual a limbii / a fusului orar / a orei / a datei).

Setarea manual a limbii / a fusului orar / a orei / a datei

Recepia semnalului radio DCF poate fi distorsio-nat, respectiv ntrerupt n locul de amplasare al staiei meteo. n acest caz avei posibilitatea de a seta aparatul manual.

1. Apsai i inei apsat tasta CLOCK 22 timp de aprox. 3 secunde.

2. Apsai tasta SET / RESET 20 pentru a alege ntre formatul de 12 i de 24 de ore.

3. Apsai tasta CLOCK pentru a confirma setarea dumneavoastr. Afiajul pentru ziua sptmnii 12 lumineaz intermitent.

Not: inei apsat tasta SET / RESET. Ast-fel obinei o setare mai rapid a valorilor. Setarea rapid o putei folosi i pentru urm-toarele procedee de setare. Dac timp de 30 de secunde nu apsai nicio tast, ecranul trece automat napoi la afiajul standard.

4. Apsai tasta SET / RESET pentru a seta limba dorit (GE = german, FR = francez, SP = spaniol, IT = italian, EN = englez).

5. Apsai tasta CLOCK pentru a confirma seta-rea dumneavoastr. Afiajul pentru fusul orar lumineaz intermitent.

6. Apsai tasta SET / RESET pentru a seta fusul orar dorit pentru fusul orar 2 (12 ore pn la +12 ore).

Not: Dac v aflai ntr-o ar n care se recepioneaz nc semnalul DCF, dar ora actual difer, putei folosi setarea pentru fusul orar pentru setarea orei actuale. Dac

v aflai, spre exemplu, ntr-o ar n care ora local este cu o or nainte fa de Ora Euro-pei Centrale (CET), setai fusul orar la +01. Ceasul este reglat n continuare prin DCF, dar afieaz cu o or mai mult. Dac dorii s tii, de exemplu, ora din SUA, setai fusul orar la 10 pentru ora local din Los Angeles etc.

7. Apsai tasta CLOCK pentru a confirma seta-rea dumneavoastr. Afiajul pentru or lumi-neaz intermitent.

8. Apsai tasta SET / RESET pentru a seta valoarea dorit.

9. Apsai tasta CLOCK pentru a confirma seta-rea dumneavoastr.

10. Repetai paii 6 i 7 pentru a seta valorile pentru minute, secunde 10 , an i dat 13 (zi / lun).

Not: Afiajul pentru secunde poate fi rese-tat numai la 00.

11. Ulterior, ecranul revine la afiajul standard.

Afiarea orei de varOra de var este indicat pe ecran prin interme-diul simbolului DST 14 . Staia meteo determin automat ora de var prin intermediul semnalului radio DCF.

Selectarea fusului orarn afiajul standard, fusul orar este afiat n funcie de semnalul DCF.

Apsai tasta CLOCK 22 . Al fus orar 16 se afieaz pe ecran.

Apsai din nou tasta CLOCK pentru a reveni la afiajul standard.

Setarea orei pentru alarmAvei posibilitatea de a seta dou ore diferite pentru alarm.

1. Apsai i inei apsat tasta ALARM 21 timp de aprox. 3 secunde.

Not: Dac a fost setat deja o alarm, pe ecran apare ora setat a alarmei. n caz con-trar se afieaz 0:00 sau AM 12:00.

2. Afiajul pentru or lumineaz intermitent. Apsai tasta SET / RESET 20 pentru a seta valoarea dorit.

3. Apsai tasta ALARM pentru a confirma setarea dumneavoastr. Afiajul pentru minute lumineaz intermitent.

4. Apsai tasta SET / RESET pentru a seta valoarea dorit.

5. Apsai tasta ALARM pentru a confirma setarea dumneavoastr.

6. Repetai paii 2 pn la 5 pentru a seta ora pentru alarma 2.

Accesarea orelor pentru alarm

Apsai 1 dat, respectiv de 2 ori tasta ALARM 21 pentru a accesa ora setat pentru alarma 1, respectiv alarma 2.

Apsai din nou tasta ALARM pentru a reveni la afiajul standard.

Apsai 1 dat tasta SET / RESET 20 pentru a activa alarma 1. Apsai de 2 ori tasta SET / RESET pentru a activa alarma 2. Apsai de 3 ori tasta SET / RESET pentru a activa alarma 1 i alarma 2.

Not: Pe ecran apare simbolul , respectiv . Semnalul de alarm este generat la ora

setat pentru alarm. Semnalul de alarm se oprete automat dup 2minute.

Apsai tasta ALARM 21 pentru a opri sem-nalul de alarm mai devreme.

Not: Semnalul de alarm se genereaz zilnic la ora setat.

Utilizarea funciei de temporizare

n timp ce se aude semnalul de alarm, ap-sai tasta ZZ / REGISTER 18 pentru a activa funcia de temporizare.

Semnalul de alarm se oprete, iar afiajele , respectiv i ZZ lumineaz intermitent.

Semnalul de alarm este generat din nou dup aprox. 5 minute.

Apsai tasta SELECT 19 pentru a dezactiva funcia de temporizare.

Apsai din nou tasta SELECT pentru a afia valorile minime ale temperaturii interioare i ale temperaturii exterioare.

Apsai tasta SET / RESET 20 n timpul afirii valorilor maxime i minime pentru a reseta valorile.

Apsai tasta SELECT pentru a reveni la afia-jul standard.

Afiarea tendinei temperaturii

Dup stabilirea legturii cu senzorul de exterior se afieaz tendina temperaturii (exterior) 1 , precum i tendina temperaturii (interior) 5 .

Urmtoarele afiaje sunt posibile: = Temperatura urc. = Temperatura rmn constant. = Temperatura scade.

Afiajul pentru bateriiSimbolurile 3 i 7 se afieaz pe ecra-nul staiei meteo cnd bateriile senzorului de exte-rior sau ale staiei meteo sunt slabe.

Schimbarea bateriilor Deschidei compartimentul pentru baterii 24 ,

respectiv 30 . Scoatei bateriile uzate. Introducei cte dou baterii (AA) noi de

1,5 V n compartimentele pentru baterii. Not: Avei n vedere polaritatea corect.

Aceasta este indicat n compartimentul pen-tru baterii (a se vedea i fig. C + E).

Remedierea erorilor

de radioemisie / -recepie, radiouri CB, teleco-menzi sau cuptoare cu microunde etc.

nlturai astfel de aparate din raza de aci-une a staiei meteo / a senzorului de exterior sau scoatei pentru scurt timp bateriile din sta-ia meteo / senzorul de exterior atunci cnd ecranul prezint deranjamente.

Obstacole precum pereii din beton pot duce la dereglarea sensibilitii senzorului. Schimbai n acest caz locul (de exemplu n apropierea ferestrei). Asigurai-v neaprat ca sensorul exterior s fie ntotdeauna amplasat pe o raz de max. 30 metri (cmp liber) de staia de baz. Distana razei de aciune este distana razei de aciune a cmpului liber i semnific c nu trebuie s existe niciun obstacol ntre senzorul exterior i staia de baz. Un contact vizual ntre senzorul exterior i staia de baz poate mbunti transferul.Frigul (temperaturi exterioare sub 0C) pot influena n mod negativ performana bateriei senzorului exterior i astfel transferul semnalului.

Un alt factor care poate duce la deranjamentul semnalului sunt bateriile descrcare sau prea slabe ale senzorului exterior. Schimbai-le cu unele noi.

Atunci cnd staia meteo nu funcioneaz corect, scoatei bateriile pentru un scurt timp i aezai-le din nou.

Curare i ntreinere

Curai aparatul numai n exterior cu o lavet moale i uscat.

Nu stropii n niciun caz senzorul de exterior, de exemplu cu un furtun de grdin. Senzo-rul de exterior este protejat de sus numai con-tra ploii.

Eliminarea ca deeu

Ambalajul este produs din materiale ecologice, care pot fi depuse la punc-tele locale de reciclare.

Informaii despre posibilitile de eliminare ca deeu a produsului dumneavoastr putei obine la administraia local.

Pentru a proteja mediul nconjurtor, nu eliminai aparatul dumneavoastr la gunoiul menajer cnd l scoatei din uz, ci depunei-l la puncte de colectare corespunztor. V putei informa cu privire la punctele de colectare i orarul acestora la administraia competent.

Bateriile defecte sau uzate trebuie reciclate con-form Directivei 2006 / 66 / CE. Returnai bateriile i / sau aparatul prin intermediul punctelor de colectare disponibile.

Daune ale mediului nconjurtor cauzate prin eliminarea neco-respunztoare a bateriilor!

Este interzis eliminarea bateriilor la gunoiul menajer. Ele pot conine metale grele toxice i se supun tratamentului deeurilor periculoase. Sim-bolurile chimice ale metalelor grele sunt urmtoa-rele: Cd = cadmiu, Hg = mercur, Pb = plumb. Prin urmare, depunei bateriile uzate la un punct de colectare local.

Temperaturstation

Bestimmungsgeme Verwendung

Die Wetterstation zeigt die Innen- und Auentem-peratur in Celsius (C) oder Fahrenheit (F) sowie deren Maximal- und Minimalwerte an. Weitere Anzeigewerte der Wetterstation sind die Zeit im 12- / 24-Stundenformat sowie das Datum. Des Weiteren verfgt die Wetterstation ber eine Alarm-funktion. Das Gert ist nicht fr den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.

Kinder mssen beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie nicht mit dem Gert spielen. Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug.

Setzen Sie das Gert keinem extrem hohen elektromagnetischen Feld aus. Dieses kann die Funktion des Gertes beeintrchtigen.

Beachten Sie, dass Beschdigungen durch unsachgeme Handhabung, Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsanleitung oder Eingriff durch nicht autorisierte Personen von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind.

Sicherheitshinweise zu Batterien

LEBENSGEFAHR! Batterien knnen verschluckt werden, was lebensgefhr-

lich sein kann. Ist eine Batterie verschluckt worden, muss sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.

Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn sie lngere Zeit nicht verwendet worden sind, aus dem Gert.

VORSICHT! EXPLOSIONSGE-FAHR! Laden Sie nicht-aufladbare Batterien niemals auf.

Achten Sie beim Einlegen auf die richtige Polaritt! Diese wird in den Batteriefchern angezeigt.

Entfernen Sie erschpfte Batterien umgehend aus dem Gert. Es besteht erhhte Auslaufge-fahr!

Halten Sie Batterien von Kindern fern, werfen Sie die Batterien nicht ins Feuer, schlieen Sie sie nicht kurz und nehmen Sie sie nicht ausein-ander.

Tauschen Sie immer alle Batterien gleichzeitig aus.

Verwenden Sie nur Batterien des gleichen Typs. Andernfalls besteht Explosionsgefahr.

Falls die Batterien in Ihrem Gert ausgelaufen sein sollten, entnehmen Sie diese sofort, um Schden am Gert vorzubeugen!

Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und Schleimhuten. Bei Kontakt mit Batterie-sure splen Sie die betroffene Stelle mit reichlich Wasser ab und / oder suchen Sie einen Arzt auf!

Vor der Inbetriebnahme

Setzen Sie die Batterien zuerst in den Auenfhler ein, dann erst in die Wetterstation.

Allgemeine Hinweise VORSICHT! Stellen Sie bei der Wahl des

Aufstellortes sicher, dass die Gerte keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung, Vibration, Staub, Hitze, Klte und Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt sind. Stellen Sie die Gerte nicht in der Nhe von Hitzequellen, z. B. Heizkrpern, auf. Andernfalls droht eine Besch-digung der Gerte. Stellen Sie die Wetterstation auf den dazuge-

hrigen Standfu 25 .

Stellen Sie sicher, dass benachbarte Gerte nicht mit der gleichen Frequenz von 433MHz betrieben werden. Diese Gerte knnen eine Strung der Funkverbindung verursachen.

Stellen Sie die Gerte nicht neben oder auf Metallplatten. Die Funkbertragung zwischen den Gerten kann vermindert werden.

Funksignal (DCF):Das DCF Signal (Zeitsignalsender) besteht aus Zeitimpulsen, die von einer der genauesten Uhren der Welt, in der Nhe von Frankfurt / Main, Deutschland, abgegeben werden sie variiert um 1 Sekunde in 1 Million Jahren.Ihre Wetterstation empfngt diese Signale unter optimalen Bedingungen bis zu einer Distanz von ca. 1.500 km um Frankfurt / Main.

Auenfhler in Betrieb nehmen

Batterien einsetzen: Entfernen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung auf

der Rckseite des Auenfhlers. Setzen Sie zwei 1,5 V Batterien (AA)

(im Lieferumfang enthalten) in das Batterie-fach 30 ein.

Hinweis: Achten Sie auf die korrekte Polaritt. Diese wird im Batteriefach angezeigt.

Der Auenfhler ist nun betriebsbereit und die Kontroll-LED 28 leuchtet kurz auf.

Schlieen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung.

Wetterstation in Betrieb nehmen

Batterien einsetzen: ffnen Sie das Batteriefach 24 auf der Rck-

seite der Wetterstation. Setzen Sie zwei 1,5 V Batterien (AA) (im

Lieferumfang enthalten) in das Batteriefach ein.

Hinweis: Achten Sie auf die korrekte Polaritt. Diese wird im Batteriefach angezeigt (siehe auch Abb. C + E).

Schlieen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung.

Wetterstation mit dem Auenfhler und dem DCF-Funksignal verbinden:Die Wetterstation versucht nach dem Einsetzen der Batterien, eine Verbindung zum Auenfhler herzustellen. Dieser Vorgang kann einige Minuten dauern. Das -Symbol blinkt. Bei erfolgreicher Verbindung zum Auenfhler hrt das -Symbol auf zu blinken und die Temperatur wird im LC- Display angezeigt.

Hinweis: Wenn die Wetterstation das Signal des Auenfhlers nach 3 Minuten nicht empfngt, startet die Wetterstation automatisch mit dem Empfang des Funksignals.Die Wetterstation startet nach erfolgreichem Emp-fang des Auenfhler-Signals bzw. nach 3Minu-ten mit dem Empfang des Funksignals. Dieser Vorgang kann bis zu 5 Minuten in Anspruch neh-men und wird im LC-Display durch das blinkende

-Symbol 11 angezeigt.

Bei erfolgreichem Empfang des DCF-Funksignals wird das -Symbol dauerhaft im LC-Display ange-zeigt.Hinweis: Wechseln Sie whrend des Empfangs nicht den Standort der Wetterstation. Andernfalls kann es zu Empfangsstrungen kommen.

Wenn zum Zeitpunkt der Inbetriebnahme keine Synchronisation mit der Atomuhr mglich ist, wech-seln Sie zunchst den Standort der Wetterstation (z.B. in die Nhe eines Fensters).

Fhren Sie ggf. einen Neustart der Wetter-station durch, wenn diese nicht richtig arbeitet. Drcken und halten Sie dazu die ZZ / REGIS-TER-Taste 18 .

Der Empfang kann durch Hindernisse (z.B. Beton-wnde) oder Strquellen (z.B. andere elektrische Gerte) erheblich eingeschrnkt werden.

Sollte der Empfang des Funksignals weiterhin ge-strt sein, knnen Sie die Uhrzeit und Datum auch manuell einstellen (siehe Sprache / Zeitzone / Uhrzeit / Datum manuell einstellen).

Wetterstation und / oder Auenfhler an der Wand montieren:Hinweis: Sie bentigen fr diesen Arbeitsschritt eine Bohrmaschine und einen Kreuzschlitzschrau-bendreher.

VORSICHT! LEBENS- UND VERLET-ZUNGSGEFAHR UND GEFAHR DER SACH-BESCHDIGUNG! Lesen Sie die Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweise Ihrer Bohrmaschine aufmerk-sam durch.

LEBENSGEFAHR! Vergewis-sern Sie sich, dass Sie nicht auf Strom-, Gas- oder Wasserleitungen stoen, wenn Sie in die Wand bohren. Prfen Sie ggf. mit einem Leitungssucher, bevor Sie in eine Wand bohren.

Wetterstation Markieren Sie das Bohrloch ( ca. 7 mm) an

der Wand. Bohren Sie mit einer Bohrmaschine das Loch. Stecken Sie den Dbel 27 in das Bohrloch. Drehen Sie mit einem Kreuzschlitzschrauben-

dreher die Schraube 26 in den Dbel ein. Hngen Sie die Wetterstation mit der Aufhnge-

vorrichtung 23 an der Schraube auf.

Auenfhler Markieren Sie das Bohrloch ( ca. 7 mm) an

der Wand. Bohren Sie mit einer Bohrmaschine das Loch. Stecken Sie den Dbel 32 in das Bohrloch. Drehen Sie mit einem Kreuzschlitzschrauben-

dreher die Schraube 31 in den Dbel ein. Hngen Sie den Auenfhler mit der Aufhnge-

vorrichtung 29 an der Schraube auf.

Hinweis: Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Auenfh-ler nicht mit Wasser oder direkter

Sonneneinstrahlung in Kontakt kommt. Elektroni-sche Gerte knnen den Funkempfang stren.

Sprache / Zeitzone / Uhrzeit / Datum manuell einstellen

Der Empfang des DCF-Funksignals kann am Auf-stellort der Wetterstation gestrt bzw. unterbrochen sein. In diesem Fall haben Sie die Mglichkeit, das Gert manuell einzustellen.

1. Drcken und halten Sie die CLOCK-Taste 22 fr ca. 3 Sekunden gedrckt.

2. Drcken Sie die SET / RESET-Taste 20 , um zwischen dem 12- und 24-Stundenformat zu whlen.

3. Drcken Sie die CLOCK-Taste, um Ihre Eingabe zu besttigen. Die Wochentagsanzeige 12 blinkt.

Tipp: Halten Sie die SET / RESET-Taste ge-drckt. So erreichen Sie ein beschleunigtes Einstellen der Werte. Diese Schnelleinstellung knnen Sie auch fr folgende Einstellvor-gnge nutzen. Wenn Sie innerhalb von 30Sekunden keine Taste drcken, kehrt das LC-Display automatisch zur Standardanzeige zurck.

4. Drcken Sie die SET / RESET-Taste, um die gewnschte Sprache (GE = deutsch, FR = franzsisch, SP = spanisch, IT = italienisch, EN = englisch) einzustellen.

5. Drcken Sie die CLOCK-Taste, um Ihre Ein-gabe zu besttigen. Die Zeitzonenanzeige blinkt.

6. Drcken Sie die SET / RESET-Taste, um die gewnschte Zeitzone fr Zeitzone 2 (12 Stunden bis +12 Stunden) einzustellen. Hinweis: Sollten Sie sich in einem Land befinden, in dem zwar immer noch das DCF- Signal empfangen wird, in dem aber die aktuelle Uhrzeit abweicht, knnen Sie die Zeitzonen-Einstellung dazu benutzen, um die Uhr auf die aktuelle Uhrzeit einzustellen.
